I own two pairs of these. The most recent pair that I bought, in black, feels so tight that it's almost a different shoe than the light colored pair I bought a couple of months ago from a brick and mortar running shop. I don't know whether they'll loosen up in time, but they hurt my feet as they are now, and that's after going up a half size that the Adrenalines. Another difference is that with first pair I bought the laces are the correct thength. On the recent pair I bought in black, Brooks has once again delivered laces that are too short. I end up with a teeny tiny bow that I'm lucky I can tie. Anyone with less dexterity might not be able to. They are both the same shoe, but with different length laces and a different fit. What gives? I'll be ordering directly from Brooks or a running shop from now on.

It’s so hard for me to find a comfortable running shoe in a wide width. I can’t stand to have my feet in a tight shoe so I prefer a little extra room. These are my second pair of the Glycerin GTS 22 and for me they are by far more comfortable than any other style that I have worn.

I love these shoes - I have flat feet and wear custom orthotics in them but they work so well, I really won't buy anything else.

Suffering from a bout of plantar fasciitis and these are officially the only thing I can wear to ease the pain. Not the chicest looking but the materials are premium and the fit is stellar.

I wasn't sure about these. But I did the shoe match through Brooks and these are perfect for me.

I have bought these shoes multiple times. They are a great stability running shoe if you were looking for something slim and sleek, that is not the shoe but if you need stability and a cushy soul than these may be perfect for you I generally wear a nine extra wide in new balance, but in these Brooks, I take 8 1/2 extra wide, which is closer to my shoe size because I also wear a 8 1/2 and everything else

The fit is great. You recommended to go up a 1/2 size and that works perfectly. The shoes are very comfortable and provide great support. I wear them almost daily, all day.

This is my 2nd pair of this Brooks style. I love the foot support on my long walks whether indoors or outdoors.

These shoes fit really well and are both more cushiony and more supportive than my older regular Glycerins. I really like the pull tab in the back too. My only wish is that the color selection in wide width was better.

Best running shoes where the soles aren’t over cushioned!

I love these shoes. They are supportive, but also very cushioned. These shoes felt a tad smaller than my previous Glycerins (19s, I think). They are fine with thin socks, but not my thicker winter socks.

I've owned lots of Brooks tennis shoes but this style gives me the extra added comfort in the ball of my foot as well as the heel. Very comfortable. I'm 74 years old and the padding on the ball of my foot is gone so these shoes were a wonderful surprise and give the comfort I was seeking.

This is a P.S. about the Glycerin GTS 22...I forgot to mention how nice the guiderail feature is. This model feels much better than the regular Glycerin, as far as stability. It's corrective for pronation without you feeling it. Just more secure than the regular one!

How wonderful to have an X-Wide width option - though I've always worn a 7.5 Wide in Brooks shoes. I think this year's Glycerin is narrower, like other reviewers have said. But it has a great round toe that will accommodate thicker socks or insoles. The cushion is awesome, with a spring back to it. The insoles are impressive compared to other athletic shoe brands. Love the stretchy pull tab at the back ankle, too. I'm glad the toe drop is only 10mm now, but 8 would be ideal.

I love the fit of this shoe! The stability and cushioning are perfect for my use as a walking shoe. I just wish it came in more color choices!!

Brookes never lets me down. These glycerine gets 22 are classics! Great for the gym, everyday or walking. Straight out of the box wearing- which is my favorite! No break in time! Already put 30 miles on them in 3 days- no blisters and my feet are happy. Thank you, Brookes!

These are great shoes. I liked them so well I ordered another pair in a different color. Lots of cushioning and support--just what I needed after back surgery.
