great shoe period. Probably the best running shoes I have ever had had the pleasure of wearing.

I use for walking and standing. They feel a little firm at first around the arches but then conforms nicely. It does have some nice cushion and support and stability. I am not an overpronater but do have flatter feet and they help with that. I tried the Glycerin 22 without the GTS first and they were way too sloppy for me. By the end of my workday my feet are a little achier than when I began, but overall pretty good and they are better than my other shoes. I do wish that they had a little softer insole like my other shoes that have a little thicker and softer memory foam insole. I don't know how they would be for running.

Best of all Brooks shoes I've ever worn and I've been a fan for years.

Fantastically comfortable.

I was so excited to try the Glycerin 22 running shoes! These shoes fit true to size. They are super comfy and have a perfect amount of padding and support. Most importantly, they are very comfortable. I like the simple design, its just enough but not too much. The fabric feels nice and the laces feel soft which I liked when tying. I wouldnt change a thing about them. I loved that these didnt hurt my feet when first wearing them like most other new shoes do. Im so picky with shoes but these are a win in my book!

Super soft cushioning. Nice fit. Wasn't pleased with the grip. Ran after a light rain so the roads were damp. The shoe kept slipping on push off. So if you are somewhere that gets a lot of rain, I would really think about before buying this shoes.

very stable and a lot of cushioning. A little bit wider and roomier than I anticipated. Very good running shoe. Doesn't seem to have the forward roll that the GTE has. But it is a very solid and well constructed shoe, very good for heel strikers

Ive gotten a lot of compliments on my new Glycerin 22 running shoes. They are extremely comfortable and look great.

Brooks is one of my favorite go-to running shoes, especially the Glycerin model. I was first introduced to the model 19, and also ran in the 20's. (I didn't get a chance to get the 21's.) I was very excited to try the new 22's. The shoe fits my foot pretty well. For me, I felt I could have gone up a half size for more toe room. However, I did rate the fit as "true-to-size" because I recently bumped up my shoe size, and wasn't sure if that was just a particular model, or overall. So I do feel it is true to size, and the sizing was my fault, I should have requested a half size larger. However, I still like the fit. It hugs my foot. There is some cushion to the shoe, which I appreciate, but it's not too much cushion. I prefer running shoes with some cushion when running long distances. While I haven't tackled any double digit runs in these yet, they have been by immediate go-to since I got them. These give me just a little bit of bounce to keep my momentum going. Sometimes I do still heel-strike when I run, but the cushioning in the heel softens and cradles my landing. I also generally run in a neutral shoe, which this is. I have an odd gait, so it really supports my foot and I feel like I have a lot of stability when I run. Overall, I am very satisfied with this shoe. I'm so happy to be in Glycerin's once again! They are perfect for training for my road races and long runs.

These shoes are absolutely incredible. I do training 4 days per week in the gym and run long distance about 3-4 times per week as well. I also am a contractor and am on my feet all day long. I walk on small beams on the tops of roofs. I carry heavy loads frequently. I am on my knees or my feet for at least 12-14 hours per day working constantly. These shoes are absolutely essential for me now. I cant wear anything else. They have improved my stamina for standing and being on my feet. They have had a significantly positive impact on my level of pain in my knees, feet, back and hips. I was in a very severe motorcycle accident and shattered my whole pelvis and hip about 20 years ago and to this day I have never found shoes that have DECREASED the amount of pain Im in on a daily basis. I love training, working out, hiking, biking, playing with my kids and these shoes have allowed me to spend longer time doing what I love. They are true to size. They feel like Im walking on a cloud. The support, cushion, and not to mention style, are absolutely unmatched. These shoes are the best shoes I think Ive ever worn in my life. I wear them out to dinner and they look nice. I wear them running and they look nice. Theres not much more you can ask for in a shoe. The support is fantastic and my feet dont ache or even smell at the end of the day. I have people commenting on them frequently and asking what kind they are and how I like them because they look so nice. I really cant put into words the amount in which I love these shoes. Ive already been on the website picking out my next order and its going to be a big one because these shoes are what I will choose to be buried in. Just so everyone knows how much I love them. Ive recommended them to every single friend and family member whether they spend a long or short period of time on their feet per day because these shoes are incredible. Brooks has to have broken a record of Best Shoe Ever with these shoes. Just to sum it up a little, these shoes are comfortable, stylish, and have absolutely changed my life. Thank you Brooks for making such amazing shoes!

These shoes have the comfort and support you need as soon as you get your foot inside. They have cushion as you step and give you a small bounce to come back off the ground. I liked the color combination of black and gray. It makes them easier to wear as an everyday shoe as well. The thick sole adds to the comfort but is slightly odd looking for a male shoe.

The fit and feel of this shoe is nice. It has a boxier toe frame than my hyperions; theyre also a little heavier to pick up. The design aesthetically is fine, I am not picky about what my shoes look like. Theyre more muted and are suitable to wear as an every day shoe as well. You cant go wrong with Brooks. The knit fabric is airy. Feels like youre running on a cloud with the support stack under the heel. The cushioning is fantastic. Again, cant go wrong with brooks - theyre versatile enough that you can wear them for almost any activity.

These are the most comfortable running shoes i have ever used. Since the inception of out of box experience, these shoes are very light and the difference from my previous ones are a major difference. The first time i tried the shoes on I couldn't believe just how light my feet felt. When pressing pressure on the heel of the foot feels just as amazing, the support these shoes have have a unique feel to it, almost like a memory foam type of feeling. As an experienced runner, I know running on pavement/cement takes a major toll on your knees... but these shoes have completely changed that feeling too. Previously, i would feel my knees and calfs feel sore and achy after a run, but now with these shoes that feeling is actually gone and i am now able to run a little more on distance with confidence. I would absolutely recommend these shoes to all distance runners, especially if they run on pavement/cement. 10/10 for me.

Ive been a casual runner my whole life due to knee pain from a past knee surgery. These are my first pair of Brooks running shoes and I noticed almost immediately that my knee pain is significantly less when I wear these! They fit perfectly, plenty of room in the toe box without being too loose. I havent put too much mileage on these yet, but so far they seem very sturdy and durable while being breathable. Definitely my new go-to shoes, even for walking around the zoo with my kiddos. Theyre so comfortable!

The Glycerin 22 strikes me as a very versatile shoe that can be used for several different activities. From daily casual wear, to walking, to training, to running, it can be what you need it to be. Im putting the Glycerin 22 to work as a running shoe. The shoes felt a bit bulky at first but that wasnt the case. The fit is true to size and they are very comfortable. My favorite quality is in the heel construction. The counter is solid, and the collar is very comfortable. Overall, very stable, but not too tight. The collar and tongue are just as comfortable, if you decide to utilize the last eyelet as well. Lastly, if max cushioning is what youre looking for, well, you can feel the cushion from heel to toe. Ive logged just over 20 miles on short runs, and the Glycerin 22 continues to deliver. My only concern would be the longevity of the max cushioning, but as of now, Im looking forward to continued performance.

In summary, this sneaker is far from a racing shoe, but it's an excellent all-around running companion. The cushioning is by far its standout feature, making it a fantastic option for everyday runs. If you're looking for a workhorse shoe to add to your rotation, this one ticks many boxes. However, if grip is a top priority for you, especially in rainy conditions, it might not be the best fit.

After years of working and being on my feet for hours I finally had to find a shoe that would give me comfort and support for my long work days. After trying on the Brooks Glycerin 22, I knew I found the shoe that I was looking for. The sole padding on the shoe is extremely comfortable and feels like youre walking on a cloud. Im able to walk for hours at work and no longer feel pain in my heels after a few hours in at work, now I have 0 pain at all thanks to the Glycerin 22. The gray and black color way also makes the Glycerin 22 extremely stylish and can be paired with any outfit. I highly recommend the Brooks Glycerin 22 and look forward to purchasing more in different color ways. Overall if I had to rate this shoe Id have to give it a 10/10.

At first glance, Brooks Glycerine 22 looks sleek with the taller sole on the outside of the shoe. The toe box is wide and comfortable yet sturdy. Air flow is maximal with the mesh-like vented fabric. I tend to supinate when active. The back, outer sides of the shoe soles do not feel stable with this form. The rest of the shoe feels soft yet supportive. If I were to change anything, it would be the support in the heels of the shoe. Overall, Brooks Glycerine 22 is a shoe many runners should consider due to the broad sole, flexible fabric, and cushioned landings.

I have had a number of pairs of Brooks, but these take the cake. When I first tried them it felt like I was running on clouds, I could not believe the difference. The shoe is so exceptional that it has added not only speed to my runs, but distance as well. Just an incredible shoe and I cannot say enough good things. I have the grey/black ones and they also look stylish too which I fund helpful when I am traveling.

I have been a distance runner for over 20 years and although I no longer race competitively, I still start each day with some road mileage. I have gone through lots of shoes over the years but the new Brooks Glycerin 22 running shoes have been perfect for my new road route. The soft impact on the heel is great for pavement running while also allowing to disperse weight to the toe in stride to provide a great burst of energy into forward momentum. I am typically a size 11 and I found that these were true to size. I was skeptical about the weight by the looks of the shoe, however I was very surprised by how light these shoes were and how they molded to my foot on my first run. The slick fabric around the ankle and sole of the shoe make slipping these shoes on and off easy. These are by far the most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn and the comfort does not come at a cost to looks, as I have found with many running shoes. I have worn these shoes out on many casual occasions as well. I love my new Brooks Glycerin 22 running shoes!

I love the look, fit and feel of these shoes. The fabric breathes really well even if I'm sweaty. The insole definitely has a bounce to it that I greatly appreciate and it feels like walking on clouds. The design is stylish and neutral so I can confidently wear them with almost any outfit too and not feel like they look out of place. I don't notice any strain or fatigue after running in them and they are super comfortable to wear all day at work as well. I would highly recommend these to any runner or anyone who just spends a lot of time on their feet.
