As a 38 year old woman I wear Brooks shoes for my everyday errands and walking my dog. I love a plush, neutral shoe and my go-to model has been the Ghost. This is my first time trying out the Glycerin which is supposed to have supreme cushion. I usually wear a womens size 13W or mens size 12D. Thats what fits me in the Ghosts, but I found that I needed to size-up a half size in both the Glycerin 21 and Glycerin 22. In the attached pictures, youll find comparisons of the Glycerin 21 and 22. Please note, the 21 (yellow tag) is a mens size 12.5D and the 22 (blue tag) is a mens size 12D. Noticeable Differences: - Thicker white sole on the 22. I prefer the less white on the 21. - The white color is a true bright white on the 21 while more off-white on the 22. - The 22 has significantly less padding around the top lace hole and where the shoe tightens across the bone on the inside of your ankle. That area began hurting after just a few minutes of trying on the 22. I cant imagine why they got rid of the padding there, as you can see plenty in the 21. - I would say the 22 is softer with a slightly more squishy heal than the 21. I decided to keep the 21s since they were on sale and I just didnt see the reason for the bump in price for the 22s. I like the Glycerin line already, more than the Ghost 16, for sure. The Ghost 16 has a comically wide toe box and quickly begins to permanently crease along the toes. Im so glad they toned down the neon colors with the Glycerin 22s, but Id love to see more medium gray, dark gray, and navy. Brooks, youd make me so happy if you made the womens Glycerins in size 13W.

I have been running in Brooks since the 1980s and have yet to be disappointed. The Glycerin 22 has the best cushioning and support I have ever experienced.

Loved the 21, specifically the StealthFit. I was kind of bummed to see the 22 StalthFit not being released alongside the standard shoe and GTS, but I couldnt wait and had to try the 22. The DNA Tuned midsole is phenomenal and so comfortable. Looking forward to many long runs ahead of me. Only downfall is that they may be a bit warm come summer runs. Grateful to hear the StealthFit is being released this Spring.

Love this shoe overall! The 'heel pull' makes it a dream to pull on without having to use fingertips as a shoehorn. Once on, shoe articulation and foot accommodation (in wide sized option) invites getting out for another run asap. Can't help but enjoy this shoe. Just waiting to justify ordering another pair!

The new cushion design is so much better than previous versions. Makes my run so much more comfortable

I love the ride of this midsole and the snugger fit of the upper. I'd say it is less than a 1/2 size small to my normal size 9 Brooks shoes. Two concerns are the toe box feels a little narrow and the outsole rubber is slick on wet pavement. I'm not a runner, use these for walking and everyday use.

Very comfortable and supportive running shoe. Actually better than Hokas. I have used Hokas, Asics, and Nike, but Brooks' Glycerin 22 comes out on top. I use a size 11 and they fit perfectly. Much more comfort for your knees, legs and feet.

Style by is always nice but cushion is awesome. A noticeable difference every time I put them on!

I LOVE these shoes. I love the 10mm drop because I developed insertional tendinitis wearing my Hoka bondis for so many years. Ive officially converted to a brooks lover. Customer Service was also exceptional! I had a problem with a pair of shoes and they helped me with no questions asked. 5 stars to Brooks!

I have worn many different Brooks shoes for years but the Glycerin 22 is the most comfortable and cushioning shoe. I love the look and they fit like a glove! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BROOKS SHOES for any and all activities to just a wonderful everyday shoe!

best comfy shoes I ever had...feels like walking on cloud and cushion feels very luxury...if anyone looking for best foot support shoe, look no where....This is my first Brooks shoes I would buy again of different model.

A great pair of shoes, ready to go right out of the box, no need to (break them in). They have great arch support and cushion the heel with each step. I walk over 200 miles a month and count on both comfortable and stylish shoes for my long walks.

These shoes are AWESOME! I had been using the Ghost but these are even better! I like that they are available in the extra wide variety. My knees and ankles are telling me that they are providing even more support and cushioning than I have been used to. By all means switch to the Glycerin!

I'm a HUGE Brooks fan! I've had Ghost, Adrenaline, and I just purchased my first pair of Glycerin 22. WOW! they are amazing! Wide base for stability and superior cushioning for comfortability. I love this shoe.

These shoes are so incredibly comfortable. There is ample cushioning, and it feels like I am walking on clouds when I wear them, yet they are still supportive enough for runs. I love how I didnt have to break these shoes in, and they were comfortable from the very first use. They are so comfortable that I find myself reaching for them not only for my runs, but for daily wear as well. Sometimes my knees can get sore after running, but these shoes have such great support and cushion that I didnt feel any fatigue or soreness in my knees and legs after going on a long run. They do run a little more narrow than my other Brooks running shoes, so keep that in mind if you have a wider foot. The style and color is a great neutral design that goes well with everything. It looks equally good with my workout wear as it does with a pair of jeans. The fabric is flexible and breathable and my feet dont feel sweaty when I wear these shoes. Overall, this is an amazing running shoe thats versatile and stylish enough to wear outside of runs.

Kind of a light tan in color, it was subtle . Like the laces.

Comfortable right out of the box. I love walking in these. The woman’s do not fit me but the men’s work great
