The heel was too wide and this did not feel like a slim fit to me, more like a narrow or between an average width and narrow. Unfortunately I am returning.

I have these shoes in two different colors (brown and white). They are very comfortable and classic. They also wear well. I am thrilled to find shoes that come in a narrow width. Most companies only offer medium and wide widths.

My personal opinion is that these run very narrow. Perhaps it is only me, but my regular size didn't fit at all. I originally ordered a medium but am returning them. I reordered a wide and I believe they will be okay. They seem a bit stiff, but since they are leather, they should soften up a bit. I like the classic look of the shoe and really want them to work out. ......so grateful for Zappos return policy - I have really put it to the test recently!

Absolutely love this shoe. I purchased it in navy - love them so much; always looking to wear something that navy shoes go with. Now back to order in other color/colors :) Looking for a nice/comfortable brown shoe. Hope I like this brown - hard to tell online what it's really going to look like.

Great looking shoe, very comfortable. I have other Trotters and they are all very comfortable. I need wide and they give me enough room without slipping off my foot . I have a high arch so even a small arch is not enough for me. that is I marked no arch.

Great shoe. I have them in multiple colors. Easy to wear for work or casual.

I love the retro look of these - they look great with linen pants and shirt for summer, they are a bit stiff but still OK to wear with no socks and for moderate walking distances. Excellent quality. They don't look too mannish or large on my foot. My husband calls them my "George Burns-Palm Springs-Vegas shoes".
