This shoe was nice looking but very stiff. It was narrow which I wanted but with the stiffness I couldn't walk in it. I have a problem with my feet and I couldn't get my orthopidic in also. The shoe rubbed again my foot.

Unfortunately, these just didn't fit my foot. I got the 9N which is my usual size. Besides the fact that the sole is quite stiff, when I flex my foot the sides really opened up wide. Plus it was a bit long. I was actually looking for a turquoise shoe and thought that's what color the blue was. It's a beautiful peacock blue, but not what I needed for my wardrobe.

This shoe fits like a dream in my most unusual size, 11.5N. But the Bone Calf color looks like more like pale skin. I'm going back for the black.

At first these weren't bad. I took them on my honeymoon and wore them around Europe for two weeks. But I have flat feet and when I got back I noticed my arches were hurting and my heels were slipping constantly, even with haute heelz in (one usually means the other for me). I tried new inserts but nothing has worked and now I rarely wear them. If they hadn't stretched so much in the heel, they might have been okay, but they did.

I normally wear a 9 W. I ordered a 9.5 W, and I am returning it for a 10 WW. VERY SMALL but nice shoe. (NOTE: I am being required to rate a shoe I have not been able to wear. I will try to revise my ratings once I've been able to wear the shoe.)

This shoe had an odd fit...too wide in the back and too narrow in the toes. I do have a wide foot and ordered the wide size. I have other Trotters shoes in this exact size which fit well so this was disappointing.

These shoes are huge! I ordered the normal size that I wear and they were like clown shoes. Also, they felt like they were made from soft plastic with thin soles. I do not like them.

I have owned this shoe by a different shoemaker for years and worn it out. I always wished it had a leather sole. I was so was excited to see this had a leather sole and bought it. The shoe's fit was way too small, narrow, and very stiff. Maybe a half size up would help the fit and comfort.

The shoe fits length but is too wide, even though it says SS. I'm glad for no shipping charges because I really had to send a lot of shoes back that were not fitting.

Trotter's quality has suffered since the last pair of Liz shoes I purchased 5 years ago. This pair of woven leather flats has 3 strips on top of the left foot which show .5 rough and unfinished leather. The color is not as shown and much more gold than pewter. This is the second pair I ordered. The first pair was mislabeled and at least 1 size too small and 2 sizes too narrow.

This shoe style has shrunk! I used to buy 6.5W but this is way to small.

I found this shoe to be small for its size, even though I ordered it in wide.

Comfortable shoe, but the construction is poor, the sole at the top came apart on both the left and the right shoe and the weaving started to come apart. Very disappointing.

The heels are way too wide so I constantly walk out of the shoes. I wish one could buy a shoe with an EE instep and A heel.

While the shoe is very pretty, it feels about a half of a size smaller than marked, very tight in the toe area and it looks worn after only 1 very gentle wear (walked to and from car and then in the office walked on the carpet). I ordered three pairs from Zappos, but two unworn pairs are going back, and the navy pair (the one I already wore) is going to Goodwill.

It is very difficult to find nice looking wide, navy colored shoes. These are OK, but I am disappointed in the quality. I've already worn them so there is no returning. They are tight in the toe area but loose in the heel. I put pads in the heels. I wear them because I need some navy shoes, but I'll be looking for a replacement. The rubber on the toe is coming loose on only the second wearing. Overall, not a very comfy shoe.

Sole peeled away from the tip - A poor overall rating due to quality. The sole peeled away from the tip after the first wearing. I bought these to replace a similar shoe (only difference was a different sole). Those lasted for years. The commentary for this shoe would match the other pair, but not this shoe. I really wanted these to work. It's an otherwise comfortable shoe well suited for my line of work.

Shape stretches - I usually love Trotters. This is, at the outset a good looking shoe but it stretches and does not hold its shape. I use shoe trees but as soon as they are taken out, the weave relaxes and begins to look sloppy. As it loosened so did the support.

Doesn't last - I loved this shoe when I first bought it. It looked nice with pants and fit right out of the box. No breaking in period. However, the weave became so loose you could see my little toe out the side. The leather began to look frayed on the edges. Not a comfortable shoe for lots of walking. My feet were tired after a day of wearing these on cement floors.
