This is the 2nd pair I've bought. Though the first pair, bought two years ago, was too tight initially in the toe box and left blisters on top of my toes the first time I wore them, after being broken in, they are now comfortable.I am sure I will find this 2nd pair an overall good choice, too. Still wouldn't rely them for travel, however.

A beautiful shoe. Sadly, the 7.5W was too narrow and too short.

I like the look and feel of the shoe. However, when I wore it for the first time I did not wear socks and the result was a painful blister which has lasted a week+ To be honest, I have not worn the shoes again for any extended period. I am trying to slowly soften/loosen the heal.

Perfect Fit First Time. 10.5W is my typical size and these Trotters fit perfectly. There's nothing exciting about the style but comfort is VERY important. Compared with SAS Metro and Softwalk Whistle ordered in the same 10.5W, the trotters fit width and length best. If the Softwalk didn't move up-and-down on my right heel, I would pick them since they were like walking on clouds, but eventually that movement would likely lead to a blister. The SAS was more narrow than the trotter and narrower in the heel, but again the right shoe moved up-and-down when I walked and it was far more expensive than the Trotters. So, I went with a boring but good fit, wishing the trotters had cushioning like the Softwalks.

I just love these shoes. I ordered the brown and the woven leather and styling look great - expensive and thoughtfully designed. They are a tiny bit, well, shiny. But maybe that will fade. And if not, that's ok.
I ordered one half size up (7) since I have two different sized feet by a half size. So they're true to size - my little foot will require a insole thingy.
I didn't know the brand before ordering but apparently they originate in Maine? So yay.

Just what I wanted for a cruise - dressy looking but fairly easy to pack. However, they are note really comfortable any more. I used to wear this style all the time when I was working. Now I guess my feet swell too much for them to be easy to wear. I love them and I'm unhappy I can't use them as I used to.

I have this shoe in several colors. This pair is a replacement for a pair that is worn out. Ordered my usual size (7 1/2 S). This pair seems more narrow than the previous pairs.

I listened to the reviews and ordered 1/2 size larger and it fit perfectly. Wore to work without breaking in and towards end of the day (9+ hours later) was just beginning to feel a slight abrasion on back of right heel, otherwise no real complaints. Black looked professional without being completely bland, buying now in the brown!

I ordered the plain black and it was a little bit shinier than I thought In fact I thought I received the patent black at first. But I love the look of the shoe. Unfortunately, I found that it ran small and I need at least a half size larger So I returned to the shoe and once I get my credit will re-order a half size bigger.
