Sleek little slip-on - A sleek look, high vamp and a solid low heel give these slip-ons the polished look you need for pants suits and tailored separates. There's not much in the way of cushioning or support; I added insoles to soften the footbed. I have not found Trotters very durable in the past and, sure enough, the back of these shoes is beginning to lose its firmness after a few weeks of wear (yes, I use a shoehorn!). But the look is great, the comfort is okay and the price is right, so if I get a year's wear out of them, I'll be satisfied.

Nice shoe - I have very narrow feet and often find that shoes marked as N or AA are not really narrow. I find that the Trotters Brand is always truly narrow. This shoe looks great and is very comfortable.

A Terrific Work/Casual Shoe! These shoes look and feel fantastic! I took them on a short walk, and they were wonderful. I later walked for a few miles, and they weren't quite so great, but they are not athletic shoes. This is a great work to casual shoe, and the color I bought (fudge) is just gorgeous!

Nice basic brown shoe - Shoe has elastic but it still runs small enough that the elastic is tight and I can feel the pressure on the top of my foot when I'm wearing it.

Perfect with pantsuits or short skirts, tights and turtlenecks! Very well padded and soft leather. The rubber soles are a great idea for traction and comfort, but they definately would look classier with a leather sole and stacked heel. I have a fairly wide foot and usually order a 7.5 B since wide shoes are harder to find and once I tried on a pair of wide width shoes and they were too wide. 7 W's were all they had in chocolate and navy so I ordered both. The W's are even a little snug, but I still would like a black pair. Zappos has me hooked on shoe shopping! I have passed the word on to numerous people. Thank you Zappos for making mail order shopping such a pleasure!

The shoe felt much more narrow than marked and also smaller in length than marked. On the plus side, it was a dressier version of a ladies loafer, which could suitably be worn for business.

The fit was good right out of the box but the materials looked & felt cheap. I thought the description of "Nappa" for the black shoes meant they were nappa leather. They are not leather. I returned them.

When trying the shoe on, it was difficult to get on. Also, I didn't feel comfortable in the heels

Exchanged my usual size (flopping off) for 1/2 size smaller. I have a wide foot but each pair was much too wide in the heel. Really sorry about that because they are a good look for a senior lady in pants. I am so tired of fancy sneakers but they are the best on my arthritic, surgerized feet!

The description indicates genuine leather, but the shoe says “synthetic upper.” The shoe seems too expensive for synthetic leather. Also, it seems to run long. I ordered my usual 8.5 WW and an 8 WW would be better. I can’t remember wearing an 8 since I was in high school. Looks like it would have been great for work in an office environment. Also seemed like it would be comfortable had it fit well.

I have been ordering this same shoe for years. They have always been made from leather. This time, however, the shoes were not leather. The label inside the shoes states "Synthetic Uppers". While they look OK, they feel and smell like plastic. The website states "genuine nappa leather", which is no longer true. I am disappointed.

I ordered extra wide and it didn't even fit like a wide. Way too narrow.

Fit like a glove, but no arch support & the sole was not firm (felt like it flexed in front of the heel/no structure to support the sole of the foot).

These fit well; however, I didn't like the look of the squared toe very much.

I loved these shoes out of the box but they have not held up well. For nearly $100 I would expect a pair of leather shoes to last more than a year. The upper portion is cracking/tearing at the edges where the shoe bends. Boo

Was looking forward to wearing these shoes with jeans and trousers for the fall season. They are a handsome pair of shoes in a classic style. I loved them....my feet didn't agree, so we had to part. The search continues.
