Great Shoe - I have two pairs of the Trotter's Ash in black and brown and I find them to be both comfortable as well as nice looking with both dress slacks and jeans.

Nice surprise! I have ordered many shoes from Zappos, and have experienced their phenomenal service several times. Last night I ordered 6 pairs and got them THIS morning!!!! ALL of them fit well; but this one was superior. The shoe is beautiful and very well-made. It looks spectacular with slacks, but also with a casual skirt. It is comfortable right out of the box - I strongly recommend ordering - you won't be sorry!

Reliability - I love Trotters; they are the only shoe I wear. Zappos supplies my needs and very quickly. They are dependable. It is such an easy way to shop for me.

perfect slip on / loafer - comfortable and perfect for an office where attire is low-key business casual, as well as with jean around town.

I'm kinda old so I hadn't realized how in style they were until I wore them and younger people complimented me on them. Who knew?

Great shoes - This is my second pair of these shoes - I got them in brown and liked them so much I ordered them in black. They are perfect for pants - almost look like a boot at first glance, but so much more comfortable to get on and off. They are a perfect dress shoe with slacks or skirts. Love them.

Hmm. Very nice design and I loved wearing them. Until they BROKE spontaneously. (The piece of metal between the lens frames and the part that goes behind your ear just snapped - under no pressure.) Maybe I got an anomalous dud, but I will not buy Calvin Klein brand sunglasses again because it’s not worth the risk of paying a lot for a mediocre product again...

Looks like a boot - I got these in black. They look like boots when you wear them with pants. They are comfortable for an average day, but if you were going to be on your feet all day, like teaching or going to a museum, I would want something with a little more padding on the insole. Other than that, I really liked these, they were comfortable from day one and made my size 12s look small.

Great shoes - This is my second pair of these shoes, I have the navy and black. I have an extremely wide foot and this shoe has great stretch, great comfort, probably the most comfortable shoe I've had on my foot and very stylish.

Comfortable and clean basic looks - I have purchased two variations on the Trotters Ash shoes, black leather and my all time favorite, black microfiber. They are the most comfortable and practical shoes I have. I wear them constantly as basic black with clean lines go with everything. The microfiber version looks beautiful as a dress shoe with a dressy pants suit, or even as party shoe for those of us who cannot bear the agony of heels and want something comfortable but not matronly. They are true to size and do not have the uncomfortable break in period some shoes require. They come in a number of colors and are an excellent addition to a multi-seasonal work shoe wardrobe. I recommend them highly!

Comfortable, versatile loafer - I had no break-in period on these shoes; they were comfortable from the first day. Very versatile stylish loafer. The only complain I have is a fairly minor one: they make a pretty loud clicking noise when I walk on a hard surface.

Great shoe for wide feet - I have trouble finding wide shoes and I have come to love Trotters because they make a WW width. I ordered an 8WW to replace my old 8 1/2 W and they fit beautifully. This is a great shoe with pants.

Dependable shoe, great with slacks, jeans - I have been wearing these in Blk and Brwn since they came out a few years ago and I continue to "keep them in stock" in my closet. They are durable & comfortable. The Trotters brand is perfect for people who are too wide for a B width shoe, but too narrow for most C/D widths. I own a lot of the Trotter styles and have been very satisfied.

Trotter's Ash Shoe - A great all-around shoe with excellent comfort. Nice for work with slacks - can be dressed up or down. Excellent fit - true to size. I would highly recommend this shoe if you're looking for great comfort. The style is simple (a bit plain), but comfort overrides the slight simplicity of the style.

Great Shoe - This shoe is great if you’re looking for comfort & style. I searched 3 malls (brand name stores) looking for a loafer for everyday wear. Finally, I found it online. Took about 3 days of wearing them to break them in, but I couldn't be happier now.

Comfortable shoe - A nice looking shoe with slacks. Very comfortable and I have a hard to fit foot. I am a 7 1/2 WW with a high instep.

Perfect shoe - This is by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I can be on my feet all day and these shoes remain very comfortable. The support is great. It is a very good looking shoe.

This shoe is good looking and very comfortable. It fits my slim feet and stays on. I had just a little break in with the heel, but by the second time wearing I had no problem at all.

FINALLY!! From my record you must think I never keep ANYTHING! But having found 1 pair so comfortable right out of the box, I had to order 2 more colors! I have the worst time finding shoes that provide comfort and still look good.

The BEST - I have this shoe in every color. I wish I could get a red, grey or dark green. I wear them constantly. My foot is long and narrow and this shoe is perfect for my foot. I have such a difficult time finding a shoe to fit. All narrows are not narrow. This shoe is perfect and I have already ordered 2nds of some colors. Thank you Trotters and Zappos!

Nice shoe - This is a nice shoe. Unfortunately it did not fit well. I normally wear a 9.5 AAA I ordered a 9.5 AA after reading the reviews on it running narrow. The shoe was too narrow in the toes and too wide in the heel so I had to return it. I think the accurate assessment is that the heel runs true to width but the toes and ball run narrow. If you are looking for a shoe like this that runs true to size I would recommend the Munro Susie. It is expensive but fits well and wears well.

My Favorite - I have other colors in this shoe, and each one is as comfortable as the other. I can wear them all day with no discomfort. I have long narrow feet, and this shoe is so perfect!!

Second buy of these shoes - This is my second pair of the most comfortable shoe ever!!! Looks good in all sizes, feels stylish but very comfortable. Can wear all day on first time!

I love this shoe! I have purchased two pairs 7WW - one in navy & one in brown. The shoe has the look of a dress boot under slacks - the leather is soft & overall the shoe is very comfortable. I'm thinking of buying the same shoe in black.
