did not fit well , had to return

There is an innersole with padding underneath the ball of the foot. It's in a strange place and feels like a lump. Maybe this is just an IR but it did not feel good at all. I really did love the shoe but what's inside???

BEAUTIFUL SHOE AND VERY COMFORTABLE DONT HURT THE TOES

the shoe had the right heel height I was looking for, however the shoe gapped on the sides of the foot even before walking. The toe box height was skimpy. The shoes hurt and had to be returned.

These have been my favorite shoes that I completely wore out and was anxious to replace. I ordered the same size and width I have worn for years and they were way too small. I had to send back. Replacement in half size larger was not available. Very disappointing. I have located the shoes elsewhere and will try again. Hopefully a half size larger will work.

These are my go to shoes, always in 7 Narrow, but I could barely get this pair on and once on they were painful to walk in. Not sure why.

The shoe is an attractive dress shoe if you need low heels. Unfortunately, the toe box was not as rounded as expected. I need a wider toe box for best comfort so I am returning to try another style. For some reason, Trotters brand has never felt quite right on my foot although I like their styles.

Nice shoes but even with a AAAA I need a thin inner sole support. Length very good for my size 9 foot. However, as soon as I took them out of the box it looked like they had been worn or tried on before. The leather had tell tale creases on the top of the toe box.

Unfortunately sizing information is not accurate - these 'size8 M' might be a 7.5 or even a 7.5N.

I have a very narrow heel and this shoe I slipped right out of. The gold was really bright and would be difficult to wear with most of my clothes.

The style is fine but it was in no way as wide as it should have been at extra-wide. I couldn't even get my foot in it. If you need a wide shoe, this is not it.

The shoe was too small and narrow for my foot. Also, the "toe covered area" was not as large as I had hoped - thought it covered the foot more. Must return.

I got these in wide width and they definitely don't feel that way. While they are too narrow, that's not even the worst part -- even worse is that they're cut very high on the sides and the outside of the shoe painfully digs into my ankle right where the bone is. Like one of the other reviewers, I ordered the Dora instead which fits well and is much more comfortable.

I loved these shoes when they arrived. They were exactly the look that I wanted, and I wore them around the house and they seemed to fit okay. Then I wore them for the first time, to a business meeting in another city, and I was mortified to find that walking around on city streets (faster than I had walk around my house), the shoes were unwearable. As in literally, they would not stay on my feet. I found myself doing a weird limp trying to keep up with my coworkers, and even so the shoes pretty much came off my feet several times mid-stride. I can only assume that the problem here is that I had to buy the wide width because the front of my foot is too wide for the regular width, but my heel is too narrow to work with the rest of the shoe. My heel slipped so badly out of the shoes and there was not enough material up front to keep them attached to the rest of my foot. They had to go in the trash when I got home. I am really bummed because I loved how they look (and I wasted money) but I could not ever wear them again.

Thought the fabric would give enough to allow for the huge bunion, but it just was not wide enough so had to return these.

These shoes were not wide enough for me so my feet couldn't fit in at all. My feet are WW so I got Trotters Dora instead. They fit well and are comfortable.

too small in toe box

These shoes were definitely not a size 10.5 medium width. There was no size/width marked on box or the shoes (why not?), but they felt more like a 10 or even a 9.5 and way too tight. The style and heel height looked like what I needed, but they simply are way too small. I have the feeling that Trotters must have become very unreliable. Unfortunate!

When I opened the Zappos box on the evening of 2-21-25, I was appalled at the condition of the shoes. The leather was streaked on both shoes and the soles and shoes looked as if they had been worn. The box was not a Trotters box but a generic brown cardboard box that was much too large to securely send the shoes. The box was in a brown paper bag that was torn in several places. I have been a loyal Zappos customer for many years and cannot believe that Zappos would send a pair of shoes in such poor condition. I called a customer service representative and was assured that upon receipt of the shoes, my purchase would be fully refunded. There was no problem with the representative, who apologized multiple times. I do have photos of the shoes and of the brown paper mailing bag but am unable, at this time, to send them. I will retain said pictures and obtain help to send them, if requested. Again, to be clear, the phone rep was polite and said she would make notations of my call. I look forward to a satisfactory resolution of my purchase.

ordered a 10N but received 8 1/2 N

Sizing appeared off and I've purchased several pairs of Trotters over the years. It's frustrating to order something and have to return when you follow the size chart.

Very small. Not true to size

great fit for narrow foot but had to send back due to defective lining that made my foot sore
