These shoes are really nice and stable. The soles are really grippy. I had been using Metcon 6 before this and these are more stable under foot especially when doing balance centric workouts like one legged cobras. They're pretty comfortable. They do feel different from Metcon beyond balance work, my feet just feel planted. The ventilation is good too. The tongue is well padded and the laces feel evenly distributed. I have done zero running in these and do not intend to either. I never have an issue with wideness of shoes even on shoes people say feel narrow but these shoes really wrap your feet especially in the toebox as in my toes do touch the sides but it doesn't bother me. I wouldn't say it rubs or feels bad, just they touch.

This shoe is perfect for CrossFit and bomb proof for it. There’s nothing you can throw at this shoe that it can’t do. The durability is extremely impressive. If you have to have 2E width shoes, buy this shoe because it is the only wide fit shoe on the market designed fully for CrossFit. You won’t regret your purchase on this shoe!

I really liked these over the Nano X4s and Innov8 F lites but ultimately chose the R.A.D. One v2 over these because they were just as supportive but had more cushion.
I'd also recommend:

Deducting one star for the fact that these aren't much wider than average. They added a few millimeters to the original, which just doesn't cut it for a lot of us, certainly not for me. That said, the design is fantastic and these feel incredibly well thought-out and well-made. They are so stabilizing and supportive, which I really needed for my workouts. Please, please, please just release an extra-wide!

First ever purchase from this brand. I had Rebook nanos which I loved but figured why not try something new. So far so good. Only been wearing them about a week to cross fit. Out of box fit a tad tight, but i just need to break them in. They do fit good - almost like a glove around my foot. They do seem well made.

Given the high reviews and fairly high price tag, I was expecting some great shoes. I bought them for my home gym where I have a C2 rower, bikerg, and skierg. They were replacing some old Reebok Nanos that I bought specifically for rowing. Not only are they perfect for rowing, they look and feel great. I'll be buying another pair just to wear out and about. Love these shoes.

I absolutely love my TYR CXT-2 Trainers! They are hands down the most comfortable and supportive trainers Ive ever worn. I enjoyed my first pair so much that I didnt think twice about purchasing a second. I used my trainers when I was teaching and walking around supporting my students. I use my other pair for the gym. The design is sleek, and they hold up incredibly well for both workouts and casual wear. Whether Im at the gym, running errands, or just going for a walk, these trainers feel fantastic. The fit is spot on, and they provide the perfect balance of cushioning and stability. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality, versatile footwear!

These shoes look great and seem like they're very well made. For me, though, they aren't true to size and they aren't as wide as I need. I wear a size 9 in almost every shoe, sometimes an 8.5 in a construction boot. I ordered a 9 in these and my toes are almost to the end of the shoes. They also cut in and rub against the sides of my feet. The tongue is extremely thick and padded, which also makes the shoes feel tighter. I'm debating re-ordering at a half size up, but I really don't think that's the right answer for me.

For reference, I wear women's size 12 shoes but a men's 11 (women's 12.5-13) in sneakers so my feet have room to expand during a workout. These sneakers are definitely tightly supportive, and come up higher on my foot and ankle than most other low-tops. They don't feel small, but they do feel a bit narrower than other men's sneakers. I bought these for cross-training at my gym, since I need shoes I can both lift and run in. These are not it! They'd be great for lifting, rowing, etc., but not running. Even just walking around my apartment in these felt like I was barefoot on concrete, they have so little cushioning.

4mm difference in CXT-1 to CXT-2 is not enough. Will have to get the wide version that limited in colorways.

These are supposed to be a flatter shoe for lifting and crossfit, but they feel more inclined than my running shoes. They also run small.

Terrible fit. I wore them three times and gave them away. The pain from wearing the TYR CXT-2 Trainer was excruciating. I gave them away to someone with small feet and bought a pair of Rebook Nano X4 - a much better shoe.

I feel crippled wearing this shoe. It's so painful on my feet that I had to stop wearing it. I wasted more than $65. I'll go back to my Rebok Nano, which is more expensive but fits comfortably.
