This is an awesome hat!!! I am a surveyor, so I am out in the sun about 10 hours a day in the South Georgia heat. My dermatologist told me my ears have seen enough sun to last me until I turn 70 (I'm 32), so I bought this hat. Completely thrilled!!! My wife even told me that my face looked pale!!!

I purchased this hat for a cruise. I wanted something that was lightweight and had sun protection. This hat was perfect. It fit well and provided great shade from the sun. The hat got wet during a rain storm and the rain just rolled right off of it. The strap also prevented the hat from blowing away during strong winds. I couldn't have asked for a better hat. I would definitely recommend this hat for your outdoor needs.

This is a great hat for those who want to be protected from the sun. I always wear mine when I'm deep sea fishing.

A great fit with the adjustable cord/toggle to snug up the fit around your head. Also, VERY comfortable with the mesh venting to allow airflow during the hottest days…Kept me comfortable on a day with a 108 heat index. I would prefer if the mesh was the same color as the rest of the hat, but the mesh is black no matter what color hat you choose (was listed in description; I knew I was getting a two-tone hat). Though I don’t care for the look of using the chinstrap, it was nice to have during the crazy, windy days we had in Chicago this summer. All in all a great hat; would give 5 stars all around except I would opt for something more stylish to wear on a stroll in the park.

The fit was fine. I found that the brim was not wide enough for me to keep the sun out of my face.
