These are the best shoes that I have purchased from Brooks. They are true to size (I usually wear a 8.5 and that is what I ordered) and the fit is roomy and comfortable. The shoe itself is not that heavy and they truly helped me to get through my marathon and keep my bounce throughout the 26.2 miles. I have been running for 10+ years, and it has been hard to find a shoe that truly fits and will break in nicely until I wore these. The glycerin makes the shoe bounce and adds extra leverage and support on my long runs. They are super comfortable and I like how roomy they are for the ball of the foot and I feel like my heels were very supported as well. Overall, these are my new favorite shoes for my long runs and they didn't give me blisters when I was breaking them in either (which is huge for me). These will now be my forever favorite.

Best sneaker ever! I shoot weddings and all day events, these shoes are a game changer for my hip and lower back pain!! I just did a Santa event for several hours, normally I'm a little hunched over by the end of it, but not this year thanks to these magical shoes. My dad made fun of me because according to him they look like "grandma orthopedic shoes", but he doesn't know a lick about fashion and I'll take that teasing over the usual back aches/pains after working long events. Buy these shoes now, they are a miracle!!! Worth every penny!!!

These shoes are like running on clouds I'm recovering from a pelvic stress fracture, and these shoes are the first pair I've been able to run outside in with zero pain! The cushion extending through the front of the shoe has made all the difference for me. I recently completed a marathon in these shoes because I felt my injury was the safest in them. I would not typically choose these as a race shoe, as they are a little clunky, but feeling super fortunate to have had them! Can't forget that Des and Kara wear them tooso who wouldn't want a pair!

Absolutely LOVE these shoes. I PR'd by 6:30 in these for a 1:38 half marathon. 16 minutes faster than my last half as well. No pain, perfect cushioning. Trying the Hyperion elite for my next race and will decide what I wear for my first marathon based off of how that goes. I couldn't recommend this shoe enough. Before I ran in a Brooks glycerin & before that I was a loyal transcend girl.

I love these. I was concerned that I would roll my ankle since they are so high, but the sole is very wide and stable. I ran my first marathon in them this weekend and had zero foot pain. They are definitely the best running shoe I've tried so far. I run about 60 miles a week.

These are fantastic. A great alternative to Hokas. Pleasantly surprised by cushioning and light weight, despite clunky appearance.

The more I wear these shoes, the more I love them. I am a physical therapist assistant and have been treating hip and mid foot injuries for a year, except for the rest part of the equation I can finally run pain free again, because of these shoes.

I am really impressed by these! They are comfortable and smooth at everything from brisk walking ~14min/mi pace to pickups ~6min/mi pace. The cushioning is somehow protective and bouncy while also having a snappy response that makes the shoe run much lighter and faster than its look/weight suggests. I also wore these for a post-race recovery run on rolling paved hills, two days after a 50-miler and they were superb! No toenail pressure on my sore toes, no pressure on my healing big toe blisters and so smooth/bouncy that I had to consciously slow down. I've never had such a great run so soon after a long race. Sizing is accurate. Vertical toebox space isn't the best but the upper is forgiving enough that you don't feel cramped once running. I've a normal to narrow foot, often requiring the extra eyelets for heel lockdown but don't need that in these. Spend the time to dial in the midfoot lacing and give these a couple of outings at all paces and you'll be glad you did. A truly versatile shoe that makes faster runs feel effortless and slower runs feel FUN. Well worth the high price because they are great for so many paces and types of runs/walks.

The cushioning is Supreme. I had bought a fuel cell model before that had the same kind of cushioning but the soles had this wide gap that I found unstable and it must've trapped every rock I stepped on. These shoes don't have that gap thankfully so they offer the cushion and stability that is working for me. Because my bones and joints don't scream at me as badly with them, I am encouraged to head outside with improved enthusiasm and adherence to my commitment to movement daily.

I wore these for my first Half Marathon this past weekend and man were they a dream. I had been nursing a hip injury for the month leading up to the race and it didn't bother me once during the race with these on.

I'm not a runner but I have a bone spur and bad knees. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. Believe me I've tried them all. Takes a day or two to get use to the balance but I love them . 76 years old

This is my new favorite pair of shoes. I'm a nurse and I've worn the regular Glycerins for years and these are 1000 times better. I have sciatic nerve damage and then back surgery last year so my calf and foot alternate between numbness and sharp hot pain. These don't bother my foot and leg at all! They're so lightweight and comfortable! I wear them everyday to work now instead of having to alternate to try and help not be miserable from my nerve pain. I wish there were more colors!

Most comfortable pair of running shoes I've ever owned. I'm a devoted Glycerin wearer but the Glycerin max provides an extra layer of comfort and support.

Love this shoe so much. I've ran two half marathons in Hoka Cliftons and thought they would be the shoe to get me through my first marathon training as well. Once I ramped up my mileage, I started to get plantar fasciitis which I've never had issues with in the past. These really helped my plantar fasciitis and give me so much support and cushion. They're the brooks shoe I've always wanted with how flexible, soft, springy, and natural the impact and toe off feels. I also give brooks props for how stylish, simplistic and sleek the design is. Could not recommend this shoe enough for distance runners!

My favorite pair of brooks thus far! I've been a fan of Brooks for over a decade now and I've purchased many pairs over the years. The cushion level is perfect and allows me to move comfortably all day long.

I recently switched to the new Brooks Glycerin Max, and I'm genuinely impressed with their performance. Right from the start, these shoes felt exceptionally comfortable and soft, thanks to their plush underfoot cushioning. The DNA Tuned offers an impressively cushioned yet responsive ride, making every step feel remarkably gentle, especially on my knees. The thicker sole absorbs impact efficiently, providing smooth transitions that are noticeably easier on the joints which is a plus for my knee sensitivity problems. In the past, knee pain and recurring plantar fasciitis limited my running and even made walking uncomfortable. But with the Glycerin Max, I'm finally able to run again without worrying about flare-ups. Walking feels effortless, and running has once again become enjoyable. My only minor issue is a slight bump in the heel area that feels a bit off. However, I'm optimistic that with more wear, this will gradually soften, as the rest of the shoe already feels broken in and well-adjusted. Overall, I highly recommend the Brooks Glycerin Max an love them for comfort, support, and impact protection.

My favorite shoe out of the 14 pairs I've tried. I find myself reaching for these every run. Make more colors immediately and I will drain my bank account to acquire them.

These shoes are amazing! I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes leave my feet feeling amazing after a run. They are like running on pillows, have a super springy feel, and the rocker motion of the shoe is great to help propel you forward. I will definitely recommend this shoe and will buy more in the future. Can't wait for more colors!
