I tried these and the 22s. I wanted to love these. As a die-hard brooks fan and healthcare worker, I own 6 pairs of glycerin 21's and put a lot of miles in my shoes. Since the 21s are no longer being made, I've been searching for a comparable shoe. These felt more comparable to the 21s over the 22s, overall. (Especially in the toe box) But these are significantly wider around the heel/ankle. Despite adjusting how I tied the laces, they still felt too big around the ankle and my heel would slip out. The cushion is nice and would probably be a great running shoe but I found these hurt my feet by the end of the day. After wearing for three days, I started developing plantar fasciitis. These shoes also take a bit to get used to due to the cushion height. Unfortunately, I'll be returning and will have to branch out of the Brooks brand now for next pair. Please bring back the 21s!

I have been wearing Hoka for the longest time and want to give Brooks another chance. Saw these plush-looking shoe with the highest price and thought I would try. As soon as I put them on, my toes did not have much wiggle room just by sitting or standing. I had them on and took my first walk around the neighborhood and they really did not do well. My feet are very slender and are not wide but then my toes were really squished especially going downhill. After walking for 30 mins and my feet started to swell a little, I could not stand having them on. I wore the thinnest possible socks and I ordered my usual size 8 for all major brands (Nike/ Hoka) but for some reason they are very tight. The edge of the tongue of the shoes kept pressing my bones on the feet which added more discomfort. On the plus side it did have good cushioning and support but bottom of the front part of the shoes gave that sudden drop and it felt a little weird to walk on. Anyhow, I gave these expensive shoes a try but they do not work for me. Hope you all have better luck with them.

Runs hot while running it was unbearable. Runs very nice and bouncy. I have wide feet but the shoes were narrow

the support is great on the ball of the feet but not on the heels... Feels like the ball of the feet is higher than the heel. Have not been able to walk caused by the pain of my feet and back.

I'm so disappointed in these. The cushioning is wonderful but the toe box isn't wide enough, they rubbed on my pinky toe to the point I had to send them back. And I don't have wide feet. I wish they were shaped like the Hyperion max. I love the fit of those but wanted the plush cushion of these.

Not good for patients who overpronate, too much movement in foot.

Loved these first time I put them on and walked around the store. But ran in them twice and my toes hurt along with my shins. And like others said, they felt bulky. I wanted to love them but ended up returning them.

When I put the shoes on the back lip goes down, and I am unable to get it back up. It makes the shoe fit very uncomfortably and rubs on my heel and hurts

I so wanted to like these!!! When I first put them on, I felt like I was walking on a cloud. But then I wore them to work, where I'm on my feet for 12+ hours as a nurse. I felt like I was tripping over my own feet bc of the sole height. And by the 8th hour of my shift, I had the worst heel pain. A few days later even after not wearing them, and I'm still sore. I'm thinking if I was moving (running) these would be awesome. But standing in an ICU just wasn't it.

Wanted to love these with how much hype they received but they just don't do it for me. I sized down half a size and have loop lace in place yet still struggle with heel slippage, can't size down anymore or I won't have enough length for the rest of shoe but somehow even now the toe box it too long/big and too small/narrow on my pinky toes. The upper is very uncomfortable. The shoe is heavy. The rocker is nice and noticeable at the right speeds but I'm always left with discomfort after my runs. The arch rubs me the wrong way. For the first time in decades I'm experiencing shin and calf issues after use. These are a no for me.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but Having reached a stage where my goals around running are less about speed but being able to keep running. Need the padding has become something I embrace and these were super comfy!!! but I had to return them for two reasons: The tongue kept digging into my foot - uncomfortably so and one point foot started to go numb: the second reason, kind of moot, I wasn't sure I could adjust to the rocking motion due to the design of the sole. Maybe with time could grow to like it Or at least not mind. But because of the tongue I had run out of time. I kept the glycerin stealth fit, no issue regarding the tongue and like the coziness of the knitted upper.

Man was I super bummed about these! I was so excited for weeks for them! I did the early pre order even. I hate to report that they are just average though. I feel hardly any ( if any at all) do feels between these and the glycerin 21s! They aren't a bad shoe by any means but definitely not worth the price tag.

Cushioning was GREAT! For some reason, the tops of my feet hurt. Maybe the seams in the shoe? Also, it usually takes about a week for my feet to "break in" the shoe. This never happened with this shoe. Very disappointed. I really wanted a cushy shoe.

I got this shoes in September for my birthday, I only used them about 5 times to go shopping, nothing too hard , and they're already falling apart. I expect a full refund. I'm very disappointed because I've always bought this brand and never had any problems.

These shoes have been worn less than a month and the brooks symbol is coming off. They are poorly made which is sad because these are the most expensive brooks I have ever purchased.

These shoes were not the best fit for me. I have a bit of a flat foot and after running in these for a week they really hurt my feet and shins. I usually always buy the adrenalines which are a great shoe and fit for my feet. The adrenalines never gave me any pain and they have great arch support!

I specifically bought these shoes for my half marathon and was really disappointed with how they performed. I did a few short runs in them beforehand to break them in, and everything seemed fine. But on race day, they just didn't hold up. The cushioning started to fall apart, and I noticed the material flakingalmost like the paint or coating was chipping off. I only wore them a handful of times before the big day, so I expected much better durability. Unfortunately, they let me down when it mattered most. I should've stuck with the regular pair I normally wear. Lesson learned.

I've had 3 pairs of brooks shoes and love them so much but I wish so badly this pair came in a wide. Would love to try a pair but all others that I've are wide so I figured these would have to be as well in order to fit properly.

I'm sad I didn't enjoy this one and I really wanted to. I only had it for a couple hours and walked around the house. I realized rather quickly that the heel drop was way too much for me.

I run 25-30 miles/week on hard surface and decided to try the Max bc I like the Glycerine so much. The Glycerine max was too much shoe for me. It felt bulky and my runs were becoming an effort. I prefer shoes that are comfortable with cushioning and are responsive. To me the Max felt like I was running in a boot and having to lift my legs instead of gliding. I returned the shoes.
