My favorite shoe out of the 14 pairs Ive tried. I find myself reaching for these every run. Make more colors immediately and I will drain my bank account to acquire them.

I am a severe over pronater. So much so that my knees and hips were so bad that I was using a walker. None of my ortho doctors looked at my gait ( they all wanted to do replacement surgery) so I had no idea until I went to a running store. After trying probably 40 or more shoes I found the Glycerin GTS 21 was my best friend until the toe box started to collapse strangely. I went to the 20 and was very happy. No more knee pain! I can walk like a normal person! When the Max came out I was excited to try but sad there was no GTS. I took a chance and WOW! Ive been wanting something with more cushion than the Glycerin GTS 20 and this is it! I was fearful of the missing guide rails of the GTS but the foot sits down into the big cushion and the sides of the big cushioning keep my feet from rolling inward. There is some kind of support in there and it is fantastic. Now, I just got them and this is day one but I can tell immediately when I put them on that I am not rolling inward. If there is a change, I will update my review. The comfort is fantastic. I would have liked a longer tongue as the sides hit a bit awkward. Or perhaps more like that of the Glycerin GTS 20 or 21 but its a minor thing. The other odd thing I see is the lace up is not even on both sides of the shoe. I thought it was my shoes but looked at pics on the web site and it looks like thats the design. Not sure why. Over all this is a very very comfortable shoe and a life changer for my knees and hips so far. The stack is amazing and comfy! Brooks, please make more colors! Ill try to add pic of where I feel some kind of stability bar with my finger and another showing the uneven laces.

Love these shoes. Great for easy long runs and very comfortable for walking the dog around the neighborhood. Gives carbon plate vibes without the plate

Fantastic cushion and very responsive; thats where it ends for me. The downside is this, the heel to toe drop is 6mm. The regular glycerin is a 10mm drop. I had calf issues running in that low of a drop because I am a mid foot to heel striker. Had to send back, buying another regular glycerin.

Really torn whether to give 4 or 5 stars. I have been a ghost runner for years, switch to ghost max really liked them. However, after reading the reviews for ghost max newest model I opted to try these. I was by no means thrilled to pay $200. But after reading what all the runners magazines I said I was like ok I will try. Normally my feet ache after the first run in a new shoe, they did not in these. When I travel for work, I live in heels. Trying to save my knees by getting these because I want to keep running. Ran several shorter runs in these 4-5 miles nothing more yet, happy. The toe box is smaller than the ghost and ghost max, I have a small bunion on my right foot. It does bother it but I hoping maybe I will get used to it. I do rotate between these and ghost max. I feel about the same between the two knee wise. But I will say that I think I feel better after running in these. I know its odd to say I think but I am only 5-6 runs in all shorter ones. I am not traveling a ton right now to gauge the heels all day then run the next morning for these yet but hoping I feel the same. I am petite frame not overweight but run 2-3 times a week. They are light considering how stinking fat the sole is and I am wondering how long they will hold up as I near 300-400 miles. I can go a bit longer not trading out shoes because of my size. I would say if you can afford these definitely try them. It would be cool if brooks to have an option to review after wear between 200-500 miles. Just a thought

I really wanted to love these shoes but they are a bit clunky. The biggest issue I have with them however, is that the tongue is not stabilized. It tends to move around thus causing the laces to loosen and consequently not a good fit at the ankle. I do not understand why you don't stabilize the tongue like in your other shoes,

These are amazing. They feel so good to walk/run in. It does take a little while to get used to the massive amount of cushioning. Best of all they look good too. I have a very narrow foot and I love that I dont have to cinch these all up to get a snug fit. I ordered an 8.5 which is usually fits perfect. The right shoe felt a tiny bit snug the first couple of wears and I contemplated exchanging for a 9 but it has since stretched out and feels perfect.

Cushioning was GREAT! For some reason, the tops of my feet hurt. Maybe the seams in the shoe? Also, it usually takes about a week for my feet to break in the shoe. This never happened with this shoe. Very disappointed. I really wanted a cushy shoe.

Walking on clouds
From the moment I slipped on the Womens Brooks Glycerin Max, I knew I was in for a treat. The plush, cushioned feel is like nothing Ive ever experienced before. As I took my first steps outside, I felt an immediate differenceevery stride felt soft, supportive, and perfectly balanced.
Even walking to my vehicle, I felt like I was gliding over the pavement.

Wanted to love it, but didn't. And for the price, it wasn't a good fit (figuratively). Well-cushioned, but felt heavy and bulky. The upper could have less padding for a more streamlined look and feel. The excessive padding on the upper made it difficult to tighten the laces and get a tighter fit. Felt heavier for my long runs, which are about 10 miles on a tread, and felt heavy around 7 miles at my normal pace. Perhaps better for those slower, longer runs. Maybe better for outdoor runs than tread runs?

I was so excited to try out these shoes...only to be really disappointed in them. The upper on the sides hit too high on the bone and caused blisters. I wore them for a 5 mile run and couldn't make a decision based on that, so took them for my 18 mile run and regretted it. On top of the blisters, my feet just HURT after running in them. I can see them being helpful for standing all day, but for running long distances, it's a no for me. Will be returning and back to the drawing board. I have worn Brooks for many years and all the changes in all the shoes has sent me to other brands over the past few years.

These glycerin max shoes fit true to size and are very comfortable running shoes. The design of the shoes is nice and you can tell that a lot of thought and engineering went into these shoes. The fabric is breathable and dries fast, which has been great with the amount of rain my area has had recently.

The Womens Glycerin Max shoes are amazing quality that Im actually very surprised. The sizing is true to size and fits comfortably. The biggest noticeable thing on the shoes has to be the soles. Its pretty thick and feels like styrofoam. Now the best part overall has to be the insole and just sole in general. It has a cushion feel that makes you feel like youre walking on clouds which is amazing and really helpful when running long distances. Literally the best part of the shoe. The design overall is minimal but casual and airy. Havent had much trouble cleaning my shoes after a run so great. I wouldnt change anything on this shoe, its been a go to and one of my new favorites for cross training and running miles or even just going for a walk.

I absolutely am in LOVE with these shoes! The size is perfect for me, I normally wear an 8.5 and the 8.5 fits incredibly! Not only do they fit well but it feels like Im walking on a cloud. These shoes have significantly improved my running and walking ability. They are lightweight so I dont feel like Im running with bricks on my feet but they hug my feet and are so soft and cushiony. Ive had a knee surgery and foot surgery and these shoes make my knee pain and foot pain almost go away while Im wearing them. I wear them for running but I also wear them when Im running errands and playing with the kids. The bottom is a bit chunky, so Im taller when I wear them and when I started wearing them I had to get used to walking down the stairs since the back of them sticks out farther than my other shoes. I got used to that very quickly though and dont do a ton of running down stairs anyways. The shoes are an absolute dream for me though and I literally wear them all the time. I would definitely recommend them for family, friends and anyone who is looking for a good supportive shoe for standing, walking or running. Theyve improved my posture and helped a ton with my knee pain and I dont have any foot pain while wearing them. With my old shoes Id constantly stop and have to stretch out my knees or even shorten my runs because of my foot pain but Im able to wear these almost everywhere I go. Not to mention I get so many compliments on the color. I have the black/white and pink and theyre so cute!

These are my new favorite shoes! I have been dealing with back, neck and nerve issues for nearly a year now that have significantly impacted my daily life and activities. I can no longer wear any shoe I want without awful pain in my right foot, leg and lower back. I have found a few pairs that I have been able to get by with but are not 100% pain free if walking a long distance. As soon as I tried these shoes on I knew that I had found the pair my feet have been longing for! They have the perfect amount of support for my feet. The arch support is just right. The cushioning is beyond amazing! Super springy and soft while still being supportive. My feet love the feel of it and I don't have any pain from walking no matter the distance. They are definitely tall, I'm only 5'3" and I can feel the height difference when wearing them. They are really stylish though and I get the most compliments whenever I wear them. I really like the colors of mine, they're a light grey with hot pink in the soles. They're fairly neutral colored and match a majority of my clothes. The fabric is soft and comfortable, but does get dirty fairly easily. Although this is typical of any kind of light colored knit shoe. The only thing I had to get used to was the really thick internal collar type thing on the inside of the opening to the shoes. I assume it is intended to help stabilize your ankles and keep the shoes secure when running but it was definitely noticeable the first few times I wore them. But these are really and truly the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and have been a lifesaver in helping me become more active again without adding to my pain. I would definitely recommend them!

I am impressed with the comfortability of these running shoes. They feel great and I am pretty picky! I like the design of the shoe for the fit and comfort but I am not really a fan of the overall look of the shoe, just because of how thick the sole looks from the side. Other than that small detail the fabric is good for most conditions and definitely gets the job done. I like the fun colors the shoe comes in too. Just wish they were a little more stylish, to me that matters, I know not everyone cares though. I still would recommend this shoe!

The Womens Glycerin Max is a very supportive shoe that has a secure fit, breathable material, and stable positioning for the tongue of the shoe. I got a white shoe design with pink undertones. I really like the pink color in the base of the shoe, but have already had trouble with the white top staying white. Whenever I wear the shoe outside to hike/run I am constantly worried that I will ruin them. Personal preference really, but I tried to clean out some of the dirt and while some came out there are some spots that I cannot get removed. The lace design is offset and unique while the laces are of great quality it appears. I get compliments on the looks of the shoes overall.
Looking at the shoe, the heel is quite large and more than I was expecting in height. When I stand next to my husband I am two inches taller when wearing the Womens Glycerin Max. However, it is still a very light weight shoe which was a pleasant surprise! This heel provides a constant forward rocking motion and did take some getting used to before wearing consistently. Once I became accustomed to the shoe it did provide some foot pain relief when wearing while running errands and exercising outside on uneven terrain. At one point I stepped on a larger pointed rock and did not feel it due to the cushion and absorbency the heel in the Glycerin Max provides.
My favorite part of the shoe overall would be the perfect fit around my foot and giving flex, but stability in all the right places. If I could change anything about the Glycerin Max it would be to reduce some of the height and padding under the heel to give my foot a more natural stride.

Oh my goodness, I love these new sneaks so much. I am a devoted Brooks brand wearer -- I've tried other brands, sure, but I keep coming back to a certain well-known, long-established Brooks running shoe for its reliably cushy ride. I've trained for and run two marathons in my usual favorite, and lots of other shorter distances, and the Glycerin Max may have just supplanted my usual shoe. Things I loved:
They're light. Like crazy light. I don't know what they make these things out of, but they feel like there's almost nothing on your feet. As experienced runners know, there is normally a tradeoff in cushier running shoes in that they tend to be heavier, sometimes making you feel a little lead-footed, but these completely solve that problem. I've never worn lighter sneakers.
They fit perfectly right out of the box. I ordered my usual Brooks size and they fit like a glove, no rubbing, no weird seams, no hard edges. Just comfort at the gym and on the road.
The upturned shape of the toe encourages your foot to tip forward, making it feel like you're better optimized for faster foot turnover. If you're someone who is looking to run faster, and who isn't, these might just help.
The ride is super soft, without feeling like that cushioning is absorbing all of your effort.
And a side bonus: they're cute! My young, hip trainer was covetous of these.
Things I didn't like: not a thing. They're a perfect lightweight, well-cushioned running shoe I will be buying again once I've run many happy miles in these.

The fit of these shoes are good. I like wide shoes and these feel kind of wide. There is a lot of cushioning and are very comfortable. The shape of the sole is different than other sneakers. The front of the shoe has a curve to it so its kind of like a rocking chair for my feet. The sole is thick and it makes me taller, which I like. The shoe laces are at an angle so its unlike traditional shoes. The fabric is breathable. I like how these are not like other sneakers. The only thing I would change is the color, but other than that I like these shoes.

All-day comfort! With a thick cushioned sole and padded insert, the Brooks Glycerin Max shoes will keep your feet feeling great while living life on the go. The shoes fit true to size and even offer a little extra room in the toe box for a relaxed yet supportive feel. The high-quality fabric and clean design will elevate your style while also giving you long lasting durability. My favorite part of the Brooks Glycerin Max is the versatility. From morning workouts to casual nights out, these shoes can handle it all in style and comfort. One thing that I would like to change is the design of the sole underneath the toe. While extremely comfortable at the heel, the sole tapers abruptly just prior to the toe which gives my foot a feeling of rolling forward while running. Despite the time needed to adjust to the shape of the sole, I would recommend the Brooks Glycerin Max shoes to anyone prioritizing long lasting comfort and support!
