Fast, then blister. Got through about 3 miles with these, feeling fast and light. Then got slammed with an inside blister on both feet that was bleeding by mile 5. Bummer.

Cushion is fantastic! Unfortunately, the shoe tongue moves and will not stay centered. Very annoying to pay 200.00 for product and can't keep tongue in place. Please sew into shoe like Hyperion line.

I am really impressed by these! They are comfortable and smooth at everything from brisk walking ~14min/mi pace to pickups ~6min/mi pace. The cushioning is somehow protective and bouncy while also having a snappy response that makes the shoe run much lighter and faster than its look/weight suggests.
I also wore these for a post-race recovery run on rolling paved hills, two days after a 50-miler and they were superb! No toenail pressure on my sore toes, no pressure on my healing big toe blisters and so smooth/bouncy that I had to consciously slow down. Ive never had such a great run so soon after a long race.
Sizing is accurate. Vertical toebox space isnt the best but the upper is forgiving enough that you dont feel cramped once running. Ive a normal to narrow foot, often requiring the extra eyelets for heel lockdown but dont need that in these.
Spend the time to dial in the midfoot lacing and give these a couple of outings at all paces and youll be glad you did. A truly versatile shoe that makes faster runs feel effortless and slower runs feel FUN. Well worth the high price because they are great for so many paces and types of runs/walks.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but
Having reached a stage where my goals around running are less about speed but being able to keep running. Need the padding has become something I embrace and these were super comfy!!!
but I had to return them for two reasons:
The tongue kept digging into my foot - uncomfortably so and one point foot started to go numb: the second reason, kind of moot, I wasnt sure I could adjust to the rocking motion due to the design of the sole. Maybe with time could grow to like it Or at least not mind. But because of the tongue I had run out of time.
I kept the glycerin stealth fit, no issue regarding the tongue and like the coziness of the knitted upper.

Absolutely love this shoe for walking and work. I stay on my feet all day at work. It's wonderful for my back and hips. I do not however like to run in these. They are a little too bouncy. Will probably still run in regular glycerin or ghost max.

I love that it feels like I'm walking on Clouds! They are very comfortable. The only major issue I have is I feel top heavy. To explain, for the first few days of wearing them I felt like I could easily roll my ankle because of them coming in Neutral only. Would definitely love it if the Glycerin Max came with GTS! That I feel would help with the stability concern I have. The toe box feels a little more narrow then the other Glycerin, but not too snug.

A little more of a rocker sole than my glycerin 21. Love the shoe!!! Did rub on the outside of my right ankle some but I think it was from getting smashed during shipping!!! Not too heavy and no pain while running is a win for me!!!

These are the best shoes that I have purchased from Brooks. They are true to size (I usually wear a 8.5 and that is what I ordered) and the fit is roomy and comfortable. The shoe itself is not that heavy and they truly helped me to get through my marathon and keep my bounce throughout the 26.2 miles.
I have been running for 10+ years, and it has been hard to find a shoe that truly fits and will break in nicely until I wore these. The glycerin makes the shoe bounce and adds extra leverage and support on my long runs. They are super comfortable and I like how roomy they are for the ball of the foot and I feel like my heels were very supported as well.
Overall, these are my new favorite shoes for my long runs and they didn't give me blisters when I was breaking them in either (which is huge for me). These will now be my forever favorite.

Really liked these shoes however the side material of the shoe connected to the rubber sole is rigid and does not give to your toes and feet while walking or running. While I am sure there was the thought of reinforcement and sturdiness in having it this way (other shoes can wear through where the big toe is from not having this), after three miles was noticeably uncomfortable, so unfortunately it will only get worse, will have to return them. Saw similar comments.

I love the cushioning of these shoes. The only negative thing I have to say is that for me, it comes up a little too high on my ankle. And the tongue slides when I run, no matter how I lace them. One time I was running with no show socks and it actually rubbed blisters on both ankles. I dont run in no show socks in these any more! With that said, I just ran a marathon in them on Saturday and not a single blister, ache, or pain.

These shoes are beyond comfy. My heel and knees feel so much better with all the cushion. I sized up a half size and they fit perfectly.

While it seems like it's a lot of shoe, I've found it nice and stable for easy runs. Its a little on the heavy side so I'm not sure I would do more than 10 miles in it - but I think it's really comfortable and helps my legs to stay fresh.

This is my first time running in a more cushioned shoe (I run in the Glycerin 21 normally) and it has been great. Took some getting used to over a few runs but theyre lightweight, make running feel easier, and I love the colorway.

Where has this been!? My new fave. For the last couple years have had issues with my feet (tendonitis mostly). This shoe has been amazing on the treadmill. Legs + feet feel great after. Wish they had wide available (did buy a mens 9.5 - usually a womens 10.5 W). If Brooks does add more wide options, pleeeeaaasssee offer some pretty colors, too.

While they are very cushiony and competitive with what's out there for elite shoes in the market, they are still very heavy and chunky. When I measure them next to my other Elite shoes, they were substantially bigger which is not great. The shoe itself feels very comfortable and it looks like it's made with high quality materials. I would just love for Brooks to make a less chunky shoe it feels like I'm wearing cages on my feet. But again very comfortable and my run was very nice.

I LOVE these shoes, I feel like I am walking on clouds. I am a nurse at the bedside and feel like I am floating during my 13 hr shift. I want to buy another pair to wear at home.

Most disappointing shoe everbought them to train in for 5k last weekend. First couple days of wearing them, my legs hurt me so bad. Went ahead and gave them benefit of the doubt and wore them for the 5k on Nov 16 and they are still hurting today, Nov 24 when I was training for the prior 4 weeks in another brand shoe, I didnt have any leg pain. i wanted so bad to love these shoes, but they are not for me. Sending back for refund.

Ordered these just a couple of days ago and received them yesterday. They are the most comfortable cushion And I do mean full of cushion pair of Brooks glycerin that I have ever had, I have never had the max, but they are worth every penny of the extra money that I paid!! Absolutely love these shoes and will order more of them although the color I ordered is probably my favorite color Which has the kind of lime color, lemon color and the soul I love the thick soul on them also!!

I unfortunately had to return this shoe. The tongue (both sides) rubbed the skin on the front my legs so raw I was starting to bleed during a long run. I had to switch to wearing higher socks - but for the cost of this shoe, I shouldnt have to be limited to what socks I can wear with them. I did like the cushioning and performance of this shoe, but shoes shouldnt hurt.

I just ran my first Marathon in these shoes, last weekend. These are by-far the greatest shoes I've ever worn. I've been wearing other shoes but I would have to choose between hip/knee pain or being miserably slowed down by something too squishy. These shoes allowed me to keep my normal pace and finish with ZERO knee or hip pain!! Brooks, you guys out did yourself with this one! Please don't ever get ride of this shoe but give us some vibrant colors!!

I really wanted to love these shoes! They were unbelievably comfortable when I first put them on however my toes were right at the end of the shoe so I tried the half size up as I you do when buying walking/running shoes, however in this case the half size up was just way too big for me so I stuck with the size I usually am in regular shoes. I wore them on a few my walks and they were ok to start but they did rub blisters on my feet and I really did need more toe room. So knowing that the 9 12 was way too big I reluctantly decided to send them back, they really are super comfortable other wise so hopefully they'll work for some they just didn't work for me but I really hope that they would sad to have had to return them!
