Im a 54 year old runner with lots of miles on my feet. These give me lots of cushion, while still acting like a glycerin stability-wise. Ill wear these in rotation with my regular glycerins.

I bought these for work that requires extended periods of standing, they are very comfortable and supportive and prevented my legs from cramping.
They arent as good for walking long distances, way too heavy and bulky.

I love these glycerin max shoes! I have Achilles tendinitis and tight calves. Since wearing these for a couple months now followed with stretching and foam rolling I dont have pain in my feet. I have narrow feet and they fit perfectly.. like pillows for my feet but still receive the support to not roll my ankle. Ive been able to run a 10k with these shoes. I definitely recommend them.

Extremely comfortable. Love the extra cushion which doesnt appear to add weight. Ive only run once in them and it always takes my feet a few runs to adjust and mold the bottom, so my toes were a bit numb after a while but that happens in my adrenaline GTS shoes too. Im not sure theyll have enough support for my running (I wear orthotics for stress fracture and plantar fasciitis prevention) but for walking, theyre great. Wish the price was a little less. $200 is a beast.

I love the cushioning of these shoes. The only negative thing I have to say is that for me, it comes up a little too high on my ankle. And the tongue slides when I run, no matter how I lace them. One time I was running with no show socks and it actually rubbed blisters on both ankles. I don't run in no show socks in these any more! With that said, I just ran a marathon in them on Saturday and not a single blister, ache, or pain.

Although I wish they would come in a wide size, it's the most comfortable Brooks shoe I have ever worn. Cushioned to perfection, super stylish as well!

Why did you destroy the Glycerin shoe? Most uncomfortable. The most unstable shoe Brooks ever came out with. Don't waste your $$$. Going back to the standard Glycerin line.

I am Glycerin shoe lover for many years! So when I heard they were making a Max I was excited to get these. I have had 3 runs in them now and have to say that the first run I didnt care for them much at all. I expected more of a bounce back that I wasnt getting. However the max cushion is 100% there. I also thought they were heavier and somewhat in my way while running due to their size. After now completing 3 runs I have to say they have somewhat grown on me. I am not sure I will continue with the max for future purchases but I will continue with buying the OG Glycerin sneaks! Not so sure I am 100% happy with them yet.

I wanted soo bad to like these shoes, considering the hype & good reviews! However, for me they didnt work. I felt they were too roomy and not stable enough. When I ran I didnt feel like I was connected to the shoe.. if that makes sense. I have worn Brooks for years and years and always wear a 7.5, but these felt really big. Im not sure a size down would have helped or not? I just couldnt trust the support when landing with my foot.
I can see how people love these though! Super light and cushy. Im only docking 1 star because Im sure its a great shoe for others, but not for me. I went back to the Ghost Max and they felt 1000% more secure/stable and a better overall fit, while still cushy.

When I initially started running in this shoe, it helped rid my plantar fasciitis pain midway through marathon training and I loved them. Fast forward several weeks later and I started to have unilateral tibialis anterior pain which Ive never experienced in all my years of running. I also have permanent red marks on the anterior/middle part of my ankle exactly where the inside point/corner of the tongue of the shoe rubs against my ankle tendon which is an unfortunate design and caused some irritation/pain exactly where I was having my anterior tibialis pain (more red/pronounced on the side my tibialis pain was). I wanted to love this shoe so bad for it provides a lot of cushion and has a flexible and bouncy feel, but unfortunately I wont be relying on this shoe for all of my training in the future.

Very cushiony run and I really like the asymmetrical lacing where the shoe breaks over the metatarsals. I have a bone spur there and the offset lacing placket completely avoids that spot.

Brooks- please please make these in a GTS! No shoe exists on the market that has the max cushion + stability features. I would never wear another shoe if these also had the GTS support!

Absolutely LOVE these shoes. I PRd by 6:30 in these for a 1:38 half marathon. 16 minutes faster than my last half as well. No pain, perfect cushioning. Trying the Hyperion elite for my next race and will decide what I wear for my first marathon based off of how that goes. I couldnt recommend this shoe enough.
Before I ran in a Brooks glycerin & before that I was a loyal transcend girl.

Just received these shoes and wore for the first time, but so far I love them!! The extra cushion is GREAT for running, does not look ridiculously bulky like some other brands do. Love the new colors!

I love, love, love these shoes. I wear them on my runs and its like running on a cloud. They are so cushioned that I don't have to wear shin guards when I wear them.
