I ordered these boots in the black leather and almond taupe suede in a 9.5., which is the normal size I wear in Sam Edelman shoes. When I tried them on the length was fine, but they were extremely tight across the part of the foot below my toes. Then I looked at the reviews and saw that others complained of the same thing. They are beautiful boots so I decided I would order the 10 and see if they would work. Before I did I tried them on one more time and realized there was another piece of cardboard up in the top of the boot. When I removed it, they were fine. I wonder if the other reviewers did not see these piece of cardboard. I love these beautiful boots!

These are beautfiul but very uncomfortable. I have a regular width and arch and the pressure on the top of my foot was so painful. They felt a size too small and very narrow. .

Great versatile shoe. Goes casual or appropriate. I wore it often over the winter and they held up well and will definitely get another season or two out of them.

Unfortunately, these boots do NOT fit correctly. I have many pairs of SE shoes/boots but the toe box is tight, stiff, and painful. I immediately took them off. This is sad because I normally love SE shoes but these were a fail and I really need boots like this.

I tried these on in-store and purchased them! However, as the previous comments have stated, the shoe is tight. I suggest sizing up 1 or 2 sizes more to get a comfortable fit. I am a size 7 1/2 but purchased an 8. After I sized up, they were super comfortable and easy to walk in.

Loved the style of the boots, but ran a half size too small for me. I also felt like too much pressure was put on the balls of my feet. But maybe I’m just not used to the height.

I bought these and unfortunately had to return them after trying them on because they were so tight on my feet and uncomfortable to walk in and I wear boots nearly every day in the Fall/Winter. I own several Sam Edelman boots that I love as well but these are just not going to work for me. My feet are narrow so I definitely would avoid buying these if you have a wider foot. They are really pretty boots and I wanted to love them :(
You could try sizing up to see if they are more comfortable!

These shoes are really pretty and the quality seems good but they are extremely uncomfortable. I am comfortable in heels and wear them often but I couldnt stand these. Makes your feet hurt.

Fit is true to size, they are snug but you're most likely wearing a thin sock with this style anyway. Comfort is fine for going to a party or something, and the style is exactly what I wanted with the block heel and the snakeskin print. But I have to say, if I didn't need something gold and shiny for a holiday outfit I would not have kept these. They feel cheap, the leather feels thin and fake, and they have already started to crease just from me walking around in my house to check the fit and comfort. All around they are nowhere close to what I expect for a nearly $200 shoe. But they are eye-catching and will do for the couple of holiday outfits I need them for.
