BEST Brooks shoe for gym/weight lifting. Its the flattest shoe Ive worn by them and the foam isnt super marshmellowy. Can you wear them to run? Sure. But if youre looking for a running shoe, try their other stuff. I only wear these for gym (or airport fashion, etc). Rocker is basically non-existent but thats ideal for the gym. It still has good cushioning but not soo much to the point where the foam gets in the way of things like leg press, squats, lunges, etc. and gets smushed. Very comfortable. Absolutely slept on in the Brooks lineup. Cant wait for more colors or continued generations of the Anthem

These shoes are fantastic and comfortable like all of my Brooks are. I have gone solely to brooks with there DNA technology soles. I've honestly never experience anything that fit my feet and support them so well. I cannot speak highly enough of them, they're that good.
