I was excited about the description of cushioned and plush for all day walkability and the ortholite footbed; had been searching for a more comfortable shoe for walking 18 and rely on FootJoy for fit and comfort. Although this shoe fit for try on, when I walked with it, the design that cushions the heel also causes your foot to slam against the toe edge and top of your toes causing pain and abrasion on the tops of your toes. So the shoe fit but now that I've used them on the course once, lots of $ for a disappointing shoe that has now been worn, once - can't wear it again and would have returned if I knew after tryon.

I am very disappointed in the FootJoy Quantum. I have been purchasing FootJoy shoes for over 10 years and these do not fit like previous FootJoy shoes. There is not enough room in the tow box, which is very important when you are walking 18 holes. The toe box is not wide enough and not long enough. There seems to be excessive heel support, which pushes the foot forward and causes the toes to rub on the front of the shoe. Uncomfortable. I wear the same size in all my shoes and this is the only pair that I have this problem.
