I have ordered Trotters before and been pleased. These are a true wide, so my toes are comfortable from the get-go. There is a removable insole, so I could probably use my orthotics, but have not tried that yet. They are a little stiff around the heel, which I am hoping will improve with wear.

These were just a little too tight. They were really comfortable without socks, though!

I was looking for a versatile everyday shoe that was not too dressy and not too casual. This shoe was exactly the style I wanted. While the style was an A+ for me, the fit was not. The arch support was ideal but something about the fit was off. The size felt right but when I walked my feet would come out of the shoes, especially the heel portion. Because the size was correct my thought is it has to be the structure of the shoe. Was extremely disappointed that I had to return them,

I really loved these shoes. I ordered them in a wide width. I have high arches and loved how there is a removable cushion for orthotics. What the shoe came with offered enough support for me. They were so comfortable. But I noticed that my left foot is a little smaller than my right foot. The right shoe fit like a glove. But the left shoe was slipping so I will try and order a half size smaller and see if I have better luck.

Too plain for me

Usually, in this style shoe (I've had similar shoes by Munro in the 1990s), the 8 fits, and I use my orthodics because of my low arches, and therefore do not need a 7.5; a 7.5 would be too small with the addition of the orthodics. These size 8 Trotters are slightly too long, though, for me, even with the orthodic. They will be going back.

These would have been my first Trotters and I was surprised at how soft and comfortable these felt when they arrived. However, I got the larger of the two sizes I float between and kept stepping out of these, which would not work. I have problem feet and need wide shoes, but the width was perfect for me - they were just too long. I did feel like these looked a little less classy in person than they did online, though. They aren't horrible, but I didn't need another frumpy pair of shoes in my collection, so I sent these back. They would have been comfortable to wear to work if I'd gotten the right size though. Had I gotten the right size, I probably would have kept them.

Very comfortable and great tan color! Ordered half a size smaller than normal but overall great fit and quality!

I ordered these nude color for my 94 year old Mother who wears an 8-1/2 N. When she tried on the first shoe, a smile came on her face. The shoe is very comfortable, however, the heal was not quite narrow enough. We added heal pads and put them on and that took care of the little problem. She indicated the shoes are VERY comfortable, and loves the look of them. I'm thinking of getting her another pair in black.

I can't believe this is a wide width shoe! Not even close it's stamped inside W but I can't even get my foot in the shoe at all. I usually wear a 8.5 wide or double wide. Ordered 9 wide as some 9 regular even fit me. Not this one. Way too narrow of a shoe and style o guess. Returned still waiting on my credit 1.5 weeks so I can try another pair.
