Great support - didn't take long for my foot to adjust

I've been running in Wave Riders for years now and at age 66, it's been a great shoe to keep me running despite some aches and pains of old age. They are perfectly cushioned and I have not had any significant knee issues in them. The price point seems fair and I don't run more than 5K at a time, so no need for super high end marathon shoes. Thanks for making such excellent shoes!

Have been buying Wave Riders for almost 20 years. They are great running shoes.

Now in my late sixties, I average 35 miles a week. I'm a life-timer as a run. Setting state records in my high school days (over fifty years ago) I attended college on a track scholarship followed by decade of military service and countless distance races (personal favorite being the half marathon). I have experienced at least a dozen brands of running shoes and Mizuno Wave Rider is without question my favorite. Suffering from a serious set back in October of 2020, I had a severe reaction to the COVID vaccine which in short left me paralyzed and in a wheelchair for several months. It took over a year and much physical therapy to learn how to walk again. As a result my foot placement and stride was extremely altered. With that said, I experimented with several brands of shoes in my effort to restore my love for running as there is still significant nerve pain from my vaccine accident. It is with great confidence I can claim the Wave Rider is once again my top pick in running shoe. I hope to be running until the "sands of time" run out in a pair of Wave Rider 50+. Mizuno Wave Rider rules the road by my critique.

I keep coming back to the Wave Rider. Brooks Ghost is good, but this knocks it out of the park every time.

I'm at the age now where it's all about comfort, not about looks. Not that these are ugly shoes, but they are very comfortable for me. They are a stable shoe, which helps my ankles. They're my second pair in under a year. I would recommend these.

I am a loyal Mizuno Wave Rider runner. I started with the Wave Rider 18 and this recent purchase is my 6th pair. Very good ankle support and relatively light in weight. I love the design and colors, too.

This is my 4th pair of Mizuno Wave Riders and they just keep getting better. Very comfortable and supportive. High quality materials that last.

I purchased Mizuno shoes when I found them on sale at a running store. I will be honest, I had several Asics, but since the Mizuno shoes were on sale and I liked the color, I went ahead and bought them....am I glad I did!! Without a doubt the BEST shoes I have ever purchased. I have had trouble with my feet for going on 2 years......kept using the heel cup insert because of my heel pain (Plantar Fasciitis). Now all I buy are these shoes.....and to think I had never heard the name before. Thank you SWAGS Running Store in Louisville, Kentucky for completely changing my strategy on shoes!

Running Walking and everyday wear.

First time I've stayed loyal to a shoe brand. I usually just buy whatever looks good at the running store. But this time I was like... this is a great brand. Good job guys!

Absolutely love mizunos. They are my go to running shoe! I buy the men's too bc I like the darker colors. Comfortable and last for miles!

I've been a longtime Wave Rider runner and they never disappoint. Nothing super fancy, just a great marathon shoe.

I typically use a moderate to high drop shoe as my everyday trainer. I've found it helps with achilles and plantar issues and assists my calves in the workload. I tried the Rider 27 and liked it got that reason. So I figured I'd try the 28. WOW. So much more cushion and a smooth fit and ride. Might be my favorite trainer if all time, previously was the old Pegasus line from over a decade ago. Highly recommend this for someone who has a shoe rotation and values those traditional everyday trainers

Wave Rider 28 adds the new tech cushion / responsiveness to the ground while having a decent toe box, which was too small / tight in the 27 model, and 26. I was still searching for and buying up old Wave Rider 25s for years, but can now safely buy 28s for a while. Let's hope they don't drastically change the shoe again for the 29 model.

Every day use

I have always had a passion for the wave riders line as they are perfect for long runs. They also have a bigger toe box compared to Nike which I really like as well. The bounce back from the inside plate is just enough to get you through those long runs.

These shoes fit and feel great. They feel natural when you run, and the quality is very good. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I only wear Mizuno Wave Rider for running. They fit best, most comfortable run shoe I have found. This pear is exceptional

I use the shoe for running only. larger toe box works great. Shoe feels stable and lightweight. I've been running on Mizuni's for over two decades!
