I wear Alegria almost exclusively, and own at least 50 pairs. I ordered these sneakers hoping they would fit my swollen foot post surgery. Sadly, it did not, strictly due to my swelling. On my normal foot, right out of the box, this is the most comfortable sneaker I have ever tried on. The toe box was very roomy. If I knew the other one would eventually fit, I would have kept them. If my swelling goes down to the point I think they will fit, I will definitely reorder these in the future. If you are a fan of the Alegria Classic Clog and their sandals, you will love these.

The Size was true to fit, along with other Alegria Shoes. Super Comfy as you slip into them, Great Design, matching the shape of the foot... The Arch Support, I found strange, and more than usual for Alegria. Try them, and see how they work for You. Otherwise Fabulous.

These have the best toe box room without looking clownish, of any I've tried. I have 2 hammer toes (next to my little toe) and all the other brands I've tried put pressure and pain on these toes. That said, I wanted to love these shoes until I walked around in them. The shoes are heavy and stiff. The width is good, except the heel is loose and slips when I walk. Sadly, these are going back and I'll keep looking for a speaker that looks decent without causing pain.

My feet are bad news, especially my toes, and finding the right size results in a lot of back & forth with Zappos. I decided to try Alegria because a friend thinks highly of this brand. First pair was too small in toe area. Second pair was a half size larger and still too small in toe area. I'm going to try going up another half size & hope for the best. I agree with the reviewer who noted these shoes don't look clownish; they really do have a nice look.

I tried two sizes… i normally wear a 9-9.5 (larger size if im wearing a sneaker). Normally, I think a 39 is a US 8, but in this shoe it fits like a US 9. Very comfortable. I needed an all black shoe for work and these are nice looking. The round toe box is roomy without looking clunky.

The shoes fit perfectly, as I expect from Alegria. The In8 toe box is roomy, but not too wide, the sole is thick & supportive with a good arch support and they were comfortable right out of the box. I wore Alegria shoes when I worked as a bedside nurse and after foot surgery! They are the best!

Got these for travel this fall. They are perfect mix for casual and going out. VERY comfortable.

Kinda cute but noisy on a hard surface. If you need a large toe box, these are a good option. I just didn't like the platypus style looking down.

Liked the style but the shoe was very big. I wondered if it was marked wrong ? I ordered another pair at the same time in a different style and they fit . I actually am not sure about the arch support the shoe was so sloppy on my foot.

They are unattractive and extremely narrow for an Alegria 42 Reg. I'm an 12 M in most shoes, but Alegria shoes are really European sizing. I was suspicious, but now I know why most stores with this show call the 42 s SIZE 11. The arch is ok. I have had it with this brand!
