I ordered these in brown and had to size up to fit, though the shoe seemed too long at the toes then, but they were very comfortable and I wore them often. After maybe three months the toe strap came loose from the sole, I kept wearing them for quick dashes to the garden, and a few weeks later the second toe string popped out. Also the sole stitching got rubbed off from walking in it (it goes through the liner) so now the bottoms are starting to fall apart. For the price I would expect these to last for years! Now I also ordered a blue pair, in my regular size since the brown ones leather did seem to stretch over time and make them loose on my feet. They are still tight and rub and are bothering my feet, especially the tight toe ring. I hope they will stretch out a bit and become as comfortable as my brown ones were before they broke. They are so cute, but I will not buy them again, as there are too many issues...

I love the fact the black sandal has a black footbed and the style of this sandal is so cute. But...the toe ring is very tight and the crisscross leather section is too shallow. I had to send them back. I have always worn Born but these were a disappointment.

These sandals are a lovely design but I had to return them as there wasn't enough space for my foot, the leather upper is very shallow if that makes sense, and I have a very petite foot, I ordered size 5.5 and the beautiful orange leather color. The foot bed was perfect sizing though.

Shoe smelt like nice leather when I opened the box. When I tried the shoe on, it felt tight and too small (short). Also wish that the inside of the shoe was dark, not light so that it looked a little more professional.

I could not get my big toe into the space for it! WAY too tight, and I do not have etra large toes! I so wanted to like these shoes!

Very masculine looking and uncomfortable shoe. Leather felt stiff and seems different than Born shoes that I had many years ago. Sadly going back.

Not typical of a Born shoe in my opinion. These went back - first of all - my foot is not wide and I couldn't even get them on. I was shocked - and disappointed because I am struggling finding a cute brown sandal with support. Will keep searching!!!

I had to return these because the toe hole was so tight it was cutting painfully in to my big toe

I really wanted to like these shoes because they are very cute. The leather is comfortable and the sole very cushioning. The problem is that the heel end of the sole is very hard. Every time I step down, I can feel the heel hitting my foot.

These sandals feel great every where except at the big toe. It is so tight on top of my big toe it feels like tiny chain saws.I wore them around the house for a couple of days and did my shopping walk and they did not loosen up. Unfortunate as they are great in every other way.

Like the other reviews I really like the way these looked and the footbed is great the problem is in the loop where your big toe goes. I have normal size toes and tho there is a little give in that you can adjust it somewhat it made my feet numb from lack of circulation when I thought I would wear them around the house and they might stretch. I am sending them back, suffering should not be part of trying new sandals.

I wish this shoe felt as good as it looks. The footbed is too long, the toe ring is too small and the leather that forms that open triangle on the top is angled in a way that rubs all three sides. On the pair I got (and sent back): on one shoe the elastic attaching the leather over the instep was longer than it should have been, so it gaped; on the other, it was so tight it forced my foot back so my heel was on the stitching. (Born almost always fits me.)

I do not recommend this product.

I always wear a size 8, and I couldn't even get my toes through the front of the shoe! Way too small.

I was sent the wrong color shoe..so that was disappointing. Didn't matter though, the straps were very stiff and tight and very uncomfortable. I sent them back.

These are not the same shoe that was in the picture when I ordered, plus they are very tight on my foot.

I had bought a pair of these Sorja in a beige suede and they were very comfortable until after 3 wearings the left thong broke away from the inside of the footbed. These Sorjas that I purchased from Zappos are the brown leather and are not nearly as comfortable as the suede ones were. The thongs for the toes are so tight I cannot wear them. I have been a believer of Born Shoes for years and now I do not think their workmanship is up to any standards. Neither one of these sandals were inexpensive. I buy Teva now.

The leather is really stiff on this sandle. Not at all like most Born sandles. Additionally, the sole is very clunky. I'm surprised and yes, it is going back!

Nice looking sandal, comfortable and feels really good around. Unfortunately, the first day I wore them on vacation the strap between my toes broke. I will be returning these shoes. I have owned Born shoes before and never have I ever had this problem as a matter of fact I kept and wore them for many years.

I am so disappointed in these sandals. They look so cute and comfy in the picture, and when I got them I wore them for 1/2 a day before the leather across the top stretched so much I couldn't keep them on my foot. The stitching on the bottom started irritating the bottom of my foot. After 1/2 a day I can't even wear them anymore....very unhappy with Born right now.
