I bought this because I walk a lot and the Tree Runners couldn't always stand up to the mileage I put on them. These have a more durable sole that has handled the miles well so far. The fit is fairly different than Tree Runners, though, and I had to size up (by a half size) and find the right socks to reduce friction in places I didn't expect. Not sure I'd buy another pair. I'd recommend trying them on first if you can.

The tongue of the shoe is too thin, so it feels very tight in the laces. You cant tie the shoes tightly without it feeling uncomfortable. Other than that, they are great. But because you cant tie them tight, I dont see how you could use these for exercising.

They look nice. They are not a good work or walking shoe. Theres not enough arch support. I have normal arches. These shoes are great to make a fashion statement like on a date or vacation.

They seem great. I like the tight fit and the comfortable sole. The grip on the floor also seems really great. I should note that I'm not a runner though. I bought them for my indoor workout routine (HIIT type of stuff).

Great shoes!! Walk 5 miles a day in them. No foot pain. 78 years old.

The shoes are very nice, seem to be very well made. I was hoping to take them on a trip to Europe, but Im having second thoughts. I took them on a test drive yesterday and within ten minutes my hips were aching. I do have lower back and hip issues, but can normally wear my Brooks running shoes for quite a while before feeling any discomfort.

This is my second pair. I really like everything about them, look - comfort - weight. BUT the area for my big toe is too cramped. The last pair actually wore through there. Other than that, really good shoes. I even ordered a pair of Mizzle hi tops!

Ill start this with the positive - initially Allbirds accidentally shipped the wrong pair. When I reported it, they took care of it after hours and expedited me the right pair. That was awesome. Unfortunately the shoes are poor quality. Theyre very very narrow along the center of the foot. I bought them in late October, and within about 20 miles the heels were collapsing. I converted them to just wear around the house. Thats about all theyre good for. Now my big toes are pushing through the fabric in the top and they just look sloppy. If these were $60 shoes Id have no problem. But for the price they just arent worth it. The branding and the vibe of the shoes are great, but its not backed up by quality. I wont be buying another pair.

You should consider offering a "Wide" width option like most of your competition

Shoe is a little tight around the top of my foot. There is no moveable tongue but rather a permanent piece of cloth that is flexible but still tight.

Ive had to order three pairs of this style to get a good fit. I originally ordered the same size I had for a different Allbirds style. When this style came, it was painfully small. I then ordered a half size larger, and that also was too small. Finally I ordered a whole size and a whole size and a half larger just to be safe. The whole size larger finally fit. Not sure why one style would be so different than another from the same company, but consider ordering at least a half size larger than you would normally I this style. Be prepared to reorder a whole size larger to get a decent, and comfortable fit.

Good shoe for casual walking but long distances my feet hurt a lot afterwards

I have a difficulty finding shoes. Picky with flat wide feet. These arent bad. I did have to go with a different insole to make them feel better. I typically wear a 8.5 wide. I ended up needing a size 9 to accommodate my wide foot. Not sure they will last very long because of how the materials stretch to accommodate my foot. They nicely snug my feet. They do look nice. Dont wear these if you plan on using a rowing machine. The extended heal will get snagged in the footbed. Im glad I had a coupon code, otherwise I dont think I woulda paid full price for them. Customer service at the Georgetown store was great.

The upper part is very comfortable, but the sole could have a little more cushioning. That would make it a perfect shoe. Overall still a very good shoe, and considering how they are made (sustainably), I will purchase again.

Casual every day shoe

Shoes fit well, although Im glad I chose to go 1/2 size up. Made well, should last. Good foam cushioning makes for comfortable walking.
