Based of my wife's experience with Allbirds I had very high hopes/expectations. I walk the dogs daily, some times 2x/day so I had a dedicated pair of walking shoes I needed to replace. I'll scramble the letters of the other shoe so as not to embarrass them so it is, "NO". The soles didn't last very long. Originally I received a pair as a birthday gift, size 10 which always works. These were short and a little tight. The gift sender sent a return authorization and told me to just order myself and they'll send the $. When I did they were now 30% off, win win! When I put on the 10.5 they felt much better. The back of the heal does feel a little odd at first. It's like they put that heel cushion your mom used to put in the back of those leather shoes you only wore on Easter. With a 30 day trial I wanted to see how they broke in. After a few walks they start to feel better and better. I do have concerns with the soles lasting. It's only been a few weeks and on the outside sole near the smaller toes they've already begun to wear all the way down. If these where tires on a car it would seem like the wear bars already showing. When I used to run a lot I would expect 300-400 miles out of a pair, at this rate I doubt I'll get 200. They are still pretty comfortable and as long and perhaps they will even once the top layer of the outer sole wears down. If so, I'll probably purchase another pair, else these will become a "NO". Based on that I would rate a 3.5 but put a 3 based on the unknown. P.S. Get a long shoe horn, makes putting them on a LOT easier!

The inserts come out when removing shoe and the move within shoe.

I purchased this shoe for my husband. We both own several Allbirds shoes of various styles and love them all.

These shoes are the most comfortable of all. The wide heal has also is helpful with stability.

Theyre great, but the bottom tread could last longer. Excellent shoe overall

Very comfortable shoes. Can wear them all day. The only small point I would say is since its main surface is all cloth its prone to getting holes. My foot brushed a rose bush the other day and I have 2 small holes on the top. Rest no complains. Great show!!

Perfect for work in corporate events. I'm on my feet for long hours, and these have been the perfect shoe. They are also a one-stop-shop travel shoe that I can double for runs or in the gym.

Ive had my Tree Dashers for more than a month now, and Ive worn them every day. I love the support, comfort, and cushioning they offer. They also seem to be well made and durable. The lack of a tongue is also a plus, because it keeps the shoes snug and supportive without being too tight and helps them stay tied all day long. The biggest issue for me is that after about 2 weeks, the shoes started to squeak. I do wear custom orthotics, so I switched the original insoles out for them. It could be the custom insoles, but I have other All Birds, and they dont squeak with my custom insoles. Definitely not a deal-breaker, especially with all the positives I just mentioned, but its the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, a great shoe that I may buy again despite the squeaking.

Good and comfortable

I looked up the best shoes to wear without socks and Allbirds came up a lot. They don't breath enough for my feet though, so they got stinky quick. The back of my heel also gets chewed up if I wear them too long. I got "go sockless" insoles and ceader foot trees which are helping, but I was really hoping for somthing I didnt have to bother with too much. Very comfortable and look great though.

Contacted customer care and they said it was due to size tag inside the shoe and tucking the tag in should solve the issue. I tucked the tag in but the issue is still present

Very comfy! The light colors get dirty easily, and the shoe is a bit difficult to get on but overall I like them.

Clean lines, warm color, great fit and exceptionally comfortable.

I bought these for my husband for his birthday. He has them in beige navy and now black. He loves them

Upgraded from the regular tree runners. I greatly enjoy the increased support and durability that these offer

I purchased these for a European vacation which was over two weeks, and we did about 80 miles worth of walking. I wore them every single day and they felt wonderful from day one through the entire trip. They held up wonderfully and still feel great to wear.

Just what the doctor ordered

Not that they weren't great to begin with, but these are more comfortable..perfect fit, easy to get into (with a little help from a shoehorn). But once on, I can wear them pretty much all day. I've tried other similar brands (and there sure are a lot more choice than when I bought my first pair), but I always come back to AllBirds.
