My Tree Runners were purchased for a two week trip across Thailand. While visually appealing with a soft cushion, the shoes had two key issues that made me throw them away immediately upon returning home.
First, the laces dig into the top of your feet and require constant adjustment. Throughout my time walking through cities, beaches, and jungle, my feet felt like they were being cut into from the top. This may be due to the design of the lace holes, as they hold onto the laces and prevent movement.
Second, quality control seems to be an issue with AllBirds. One shoe felt secure on the heel, where the other was always loose. I noticed a variety of inconsistencies with the different AllBird models that I tried on in store, but had hoped that what I felt with my Tree Runners would just even out during the break-in period. This did not happen.
In summary, while I had high hopes for these shoes after watching many videos and reading a number of reviews, they ultimately ended up being my worst shoe experience to date.

Nice shoe. Comfortable but not the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I do not understand why the tongue is attached to the side of the shoe. It just makes it harder to put on

I wear Allbirds every single day. Whether its to the office, or out socially. They are as good as it gets when it comes to comfort, style and functionality.

As always, extremely comfortable. Really nothing negative. . After having worn them for awhile, I'm afraid I don't like so much the color contrast between the sole and the mesh above. . For me, a sole color that matches the upper would be preferable.

I like the look and feel of my new shoes. Very comfortable. One exception: The white shoestrings are a bit much so I bought a dark green patterned set of shoestrings and I like those much more than the white.

I love my Allbirds. I have neuropathy in my feet and cant wear leather shoes. I tried a number of different softer shoes and came upon Allbirds. I now own 10 or 11 pairs of them in different styles and colors. They are uniformly comfortable, and they work as both casual shoes and as business casual for work. I am a lawyer and even wear the dark wool ones with my suits in court. Thank you for providing the perfect solution for me.

First, I'm not a shoe geek at all. I don't collect them or anything like that. I can't remember ever having a pair of shoes I like so well. They feel like feathers on your feet. By that, I mean when I first bought them, I was working 14-hour days constantly on foot on cement floors. I never felt any discomfort. They are also incredibly durable. I've owned them for 4 years now. I don't wear them every day but, still, you would not guess that they were 4 years old by looking at them. If they get dirty, you just remove the insoles and throw the shoe in the with the laundry. My dog chewed on one of them about 1/12 years ago, and recently I put them on the back patios to dry in the sun. I forgot about them for a few days ultimately forgetting what I had done with them. I finally realized that my dog must have gotten them Sure enough, I found them at her favorite spot in the yard. I can't see any damage other than she destroyed the insoles. Astounding really. I feel like I'll always have a pair ofAllbirds in my closet (or on my feet). I'm just some random guy on the internet but trust me, I could not recommend a better shoe

I wore these for an extended weekend, not swapping out to another pair and these were never uncomfortable. I would recommend these for most any recreational extended use.
