I so wanted these to work out for an upcoming trip to Europe. I had been searching for a water resistant shoe that would be great for walking miles. The shoe runs very small, and even going one size up the shoes were very hard to put on and take off. I didn't want to go two sizes up because the rest of the shoe would become too large. Back to the drawing board, and grateful for Zappos return policy.

I wanted to love these shows, but if you're a half size like me - they just don't work out. Based on cm I measured my foot, and ordered the half size down and they were so tight, no matter how much I loosened the laces.

Extremely difficult to get on my foot: very tight through the instep, I had to pull up all the lacing, pull back the tongue and I still needed a shoehorn to get my foot in. Once in, the structure of the shoe was very narrow in the instep and felt very tight. The toe box was good and the heel felt just right. The sole was moderately cushy. But the width was uncomfortably tight and even after walking in them at home for two hours, the shoes never got more comfortable.

I wanted a waterproof shoe that was a slip in style. From the photos, it looked like these were slip in, but they are not. . They have ties. Besides the fact that they were not the style I wanted, they also had two other faults: they were too tight and after reading an article about the best rated waterproof shoes, I found out that they are water repellent, but not waterproof. I ordered my usual size 7 medium. I have other shoes in the same brand that I love but I just couldn’t love these so they were returned.

the opening is too high and too small to get over my instep. L have no idea how they would fit I could actually wear them.
