Great After Break-In! I looked at these shoes for several weeks before I finally gave into temptation. I'm so glad I did! The first few times I wore the shoes, I was almost reduced to tears, but with my wide feet, that's usually the case. After a few wears though, they are very comfortable, and I find myself wearing them more and more. They go great with almost anything!

Size 9 wide - Thank you for the difficult to find dark purple I needed to match a dress I chose for a wedding. Wish they had a bit more pizazz, but I had a lot of stairs to come down in the ceremony so a low heel was safest. However, sure would have liked a double wide width.

Ran a bit small - I wear a lot of Vaneli shoes and 9 is always a perfect size. For some reason, I should have gotten these in a 9.5. Also, strap across back is a rough finish on interior.

Took Advice and Ordered Half Size Larger - After reading reviews I did order a half size bigger and glad I did, otherwise they would not have fit. It’s a pretty shoe, but you have to like the real pointed toes. They were comfortable until the end of the evening, but I had been standing on my feet for a long period of time. I liked the shoes; I just don't think my feet liked them!

Great basic shoe that looks cute with pants, skirts, capris. Comfortable and practical for the office. I went up a size because of the pointy toe. They are a tad bit long but better with more toe room if you have a wide foot. This is my second pair. I have the brown suede and bronze. I have foot problems and it's hard to find shoes that I can tolerate that are stylish, but these work for me.

Comfortable for standing, but not for walking - These shoes are very classy looking for work and good if you have to stand all day, but not if you have to walk around a lot, which is the point of flats. The slingback straps are not adjustable, so they kept rubbing and gave me blisters on the back of my feet. Also, I usually wear a 10 narrow, but these seem narrower than the other Vaneli's that I've worn. My toes were squished in the front when I walked.

Pretty but needs a little breaking in... Got these in the gray suede. Beautiful on the foot, but I think for the price they should be a little better quality. Snug up front when you first put them on but I think they'll break in pretty easily.

Vaneli Shaine - I was very disappointed in this shoe. I like the look of it, but it was very uncomfortable. I had red marks near the top of my feet after a few hours of wear. I have had good luck in the past with both Zappos and Vaneli shoes, so I will try again!

Pretty, but... I loved the look of these shoes, but they cut into my left foot just below the big toe... couldn't even walk a few steps, so I had to return them.

The cutest shoe - This is one of the cutest shoes I have seen in a long time BUT it doesn't fit. The elastic back just doesn't work - I found the size (4) to be just fine but the heel strap was too loose and does NOT adjust. I should have paid attention to what the other reviewers said.

Narrow - Narrow in the toe box. No arch support. Not good fit or support for my 56 year old feet! I had to return.

Most Uncomfortable Flat Shoe That I Have Ever Worn - This is the most uncomfortable pair of flat shoes that I have ever owned. I wish that I could return them. I tried the shoes on when they arrived and they felt fine. I wore them to work one day and what a mistake. The sling back strap is not adjustable and as the day wore on, the strap started biting into back of my ankle. The toe of the shoe is really narrow and, as time went by, that also caused a lot of discomfort. I had to take the shoes off as soon as I got to my car and they are still on the floor of the car. I just can't bring myself to wear them again so I will probably give them to charity. I wish that I had remembered to check the reviews before I bought the shoe. I noticed after the pain that most people who liked the shoe got it 1/2 size bigger or talked about breaking it in. So, if you really love the look of this shoe, then I would say that you should go up a 1/2 size and see if that makes it comfortable for you.
