These shoes are made for people with a very flat bridge of the foot. Essentially, in the design of the shoe the sides are too short and the tongue of the shoe ends up under the sides of the shoe making it very uncomfortable.

The shoe is made very well and I had high expectations, but they are not as comfortable as I had hoped. There seems to be some pressure on top of the shoe about 2-3 from the tip of the shoe. I have tried retying the shoe but no difference.

I've had them about two weeks and they're wearing well. Haven't had an opportunity to test the waterproofing yet. One note: although the website says they run large, I ordered my usual size (9.5 Wide) and they fit fine.

I love these shoes. With their wide toe box, they fit me very well. The tread provides great traction on slippery surfaces. They are comfortable right out of the box and do not fatigue my feet. Highly recommended.

Hiked in them right out the box put about 40 miles on them in a week. Mountain terrain.

I like them. The III's were lighter and more comfortable but these are still nice.

Awesome shoes that live up to Keens quality in footwear!

Like walking on a curved brick. Wish I could return them, but too much time has passed because I wanted to will them into being comfortable. They just aren't.

Insoles need to be softer to make them more comfortable, always have to add memory plus insoles for added comfort.

I gave these a four because it is taking a long time to break them in. They arent as comfortable as I would hope at this point.

How does your shoes fit in size? Small true to size or large they run large

Keen is one of my favorite brands for footwear. Always comfortable, always performs. If they keep up the quality and amazing customer support, Ill always buy Keen.

Good fit and comfortable. The service was out of this world people were so nice and they did a price adjustment a week after because they went on sale.

I enjoy wearing KEEN boots and shoes. I have a wide foot and KEEN'S always make my feet happy.

Just wish the color was black

After reading multiple reviews I went with my normal shoe size 9.5 W. It was too narrow so I returned for a 10 W. The width is a little better however, the shoe is too long and my heel slips. Will keep the bigger size.

This is the first hiking shoe that doesnt hurt my feet, even after being in them for long periods of time

Still breaking them in but they are very rigid right now. Difficult to wear for long periods of time.

The laces to my new Targee IV boots were way too short and difficult to tie. When I complained, they just told me to exchange them within 30 days. I took out the laces from my old Targhees, which were 6+ inches longer! A bad quality control and design problem!

These shoes are comfortable. The only thing to complain about is they squeak when I walk.

good to have a fresh shoe on, snug fit but not to snug, firm heal portion. and the look is sweet.

Laces keep coming untied! Change finish on lace or make longer to allow double bow.
