I've been a fan of Keen's wider toe-box for years and have owned several pairs. No complaints. It would be nice, however, if they came with better and more substantial insoles. I always swap out the factory provided ones with Superfeet or other similar brands. But replacement insoles are stupidly expensive for some mass produced layers of foam and plastic. Would be nice if the shoes came with a pair of good ones so I didn't feel compelled to shell out more money.

Dont think their as wide as advertised. . . I have bunions and love Keens for the wide toe box. I have a pair of Austins and they are wonderful. Well, always wanted the Targhees and bought the wide model. Well, not near as wide as the Austins. Other than that, they are wonderful and I think Im slowly breaking them in!

Fit well with my custom insoles. Wide toe box allows plenty of space for my toes. Keeps feet dry and warm in sub zero temps.

They are comfortable right out of the box, waterproof and sturdy. I use them for everyday at the farm and as my primary walking shoes.

These arrived as ordered and are great for my cold weather dog walking here in Tennessee.

The new design is a great improvement over the former design that had problems with sole edges delaminating.

shoes fit great and have a deep cushion

Still in the box, but I also own 2 other pairs different styles. I Wouldn't think of going to another brand

The shoe fits well, however after 3 days of wearing the soles began to cause foot pain. I fixed it by using a Dr Scholls insert.

Good stuff

size and appearance are great, I just hope the soles don't come apart (delaminate) like the III do.

Not very comfortable, felt like a ball on my upper foot

They fit like other Targhe hiking boots, which is a real plus. They give excellent support. However, I find them very heavy and tiring to hike long distances.

Great fit and support. Comfortable and stable walking shoe for all terrain.

Zero break-in time for these shoes. My feet are comfortable again, for all activities. Background: Id replaced my daily shoes thru my usual, reputable shoe manufacturer but the model I chose had a rigid sole. Wore them once and thought Id broken something in my feet. So painful. Emergency appointment with a Podiatrist revealed no broken bones but I do have very high arches, which are incompatible with stiff soles. Podiatrist recommended Keen shoes. These shoes apparently support my arch and bend in the right place for my feet. Relieved, and back to daily walks the same day they arrived. Great, engineered shoes.

I have bad peripheral neuropathy. Excellent shoe. Rain, snow, mud or knocking around town on the pavement - it's comfortable, durable, and rugged. Love it. No complaints. Size 13 W.
