These shoes were my first purchase from this brand and I'm impressed. I have wide feet at the base, but not "chubby" feet, so most wide shoes come up too high above my foot and have loose straps and buckles. These fit WELL and were comfortable right out of the box. I got them in a 9W, and my best fitting shoes ever were anything by naturalizer in an 8.5WW (which they're no longer making, it seems). The style is mature, but cute enough. They have a velcro strap which was an immediate turn off, but after wearing the shoes all day, I realized it's quite secure. The green color is subtle to bold depending on the lighting. I've been wearing these daily since I got them a few weeks ago and defiantly plan to buy more from this brand.

The leather is pliable and will be soft with wear. I purchased the Wino color which is actually a really dark rich wine/purpley color which is perfect for me. The shoes were comfy, some padding at the heel, good support, lots of toe room. The web description says "The inside elastic across the vamp allows for easy on-and-off wear,"......*I* did not see any elastic across the vamp or anyplace else. I'm reordering in a size larger. Some Alegrias I wear 40, and some others 41. This 40 was just too short. Thank you Zappos for exchanging.

These are adorable, loved the look, loved the color. This is NOT a wide shoe. I couldn’t even get my foot in the shoe. So sad to have to return them!

I put them on and only took them off when I went to bed!

I have lots of problems with my feet, including bunions, one of which has had surgery. This is the first time in over 20 years that I have found a good leather shoe that was comfortable the moment that I put them on. And they look so good!!

I’ve always had issues with my flat feet. I have a pair of Alegria sandals that are so comfortable I thought I’ll try a pair of their shoes. The Ophelia was comfortable from the moment I put them on with plenty of room for my toes. Even on my daily dog walk, they’re very comfortable. I think I probably could have gone a half size smaller, but I can wear socks or go sock less with this size.

I love the shoe, but I have an issue with my feet, and it's hard to find a shoe that will fit; I have to keep looking. I wished they fit a beautiful pair of shoes.

These shoes are really great! They have nice arch support and are not too wide. They look nice as well. I bought the maroon color.

Great shoes, perfect fit. Took just a bit of time to work in the heals as they rubbed. Overall I love the shoes!

These are really cute shoes, but I have to exchange them for a larger size. I ordered the "tree bark" which is a bluish color (I guess the ambiguous name covers it). I'm glad the brand has more subdued solid color options. I have worn this brand of sandals and "clunky" closed shoes, but these tend to be short and narrow. I am usually an 8 1/2, and Zappos suggested a size 38. I am exchanging these for a size 39. Thanks again, Zappos for the quick delivery/return policy.

Shoe felt hard and clunky. I didn't realize it was basically a closed clog. Not for me.

These are really cut shoes, just not for my hard to fit feet.

The shoes are very cute, but they dug into my heel and gave me a big blister. I have not had this issue with other Alegria shoes of the same size.

The shoe was comfortable but the strap was so bulky. I don’t understand why it was made like that, but I really did not like the style so I sent them back.
