I was determined to have waterproof slip-ins for a walking tour of Great Britain. My first impression: these are STIFF. My worst problem was that size 7 was just too small; size 7.5 was definitely too large. I rationalized that I'd wear socks on a cold, rainy day anyway, and opted for the larger shoes, with thicker socks. Nobody likes to compromise on shoes. These got me through the trip, and have mostly seen limited action ever since.

I loved the shoe, but wouldn't buy them again, due to the sole. the Cross Creases pick up small rocks, and they are carried in and scratch my floor. I have to pick the rocks out by hand. Wouldn't buy this style for that reason. Otherwise, a great shoe.
