I returned the shoes to Foot Joy. I did not like the cuff on the shoe at the foot entry---awkward to use!!

I have golfed and also worked at multiple golf clubs with this shoe as outside and inside staff. The most uncomfortable shoe I've ever worn. The water proof and performance is not bad at all but I have never had my feet hurt so bad after a day of golf or work.

Very uncomfortable and caused cuts and chafing in the heel/Achilles area. Poor design. Would definitely not buy again.

A few points I'd like to make. 1) The entire 'feel' around the heel reeks of cheap cardboard-like material and rubs uncomfortably with certain ranges of motion. 2) No PUD pricing for PGA professionals - reps don't reach out or reach back 3) Overpriced. Not by much but just enough to allow regret to creep in. 4) Finally, the colors online (save for the blue) didn't exactly look the same once I took them out of the box. Very close but something seemed off.

Shoes were more narrow than expected and were much longer than any other 11.5 shoe I wear. Sending them back and will try different gokf shoe.

I bought these shoes because I expected them to be high quality athletic golf shoes that were as comfortable as a great running shoe. Unfortunately, this isn't what I experienced; the main part of the shoe is typical FootJoy comfort, but the elastic support band is abrasive and caused blisters when I wore them with golf socks. As a result, these are new FootJoy's that will only be used occasionally when I want to wear socks that cover my ankles.

This year's model without separate 'tongue', makes this show very uncomfortable and 'stiff'. Also, the waterproofing is already starting to fail after just 1 month of use. I would highly recommend that FJ reverts to it's previous design to make these shoes go back to their former glory!

I purchased Flex XP golf shoes last year and was delighted with them. Accordingly, I ordered another pair recently. However, when they arrived I saw that the style had changed and that they did not have the traditional "tongue". Instead, instead of loosening the tongue and laces to slip my foot into the shoe, I have to force my foot to squeeze through a narrow opening, which I have found difficult and time consuming. Had I known this before ordering, I would not have purchased this model.

Not sure, I must say that it is difficult to put the shoes on, I am not a large person 5'7 weigh 167 and have a 8 shoe size They are very comfortable, but the Sox thing seems to be the issue, still may return trying Mark

Wasn't what I expected. It was supposed to be a golf shoe for Diabetics and golfer with neuropathy. There was no upper support. They were like putting on a sock. Nice looking shoe though!

These shoes fit nicely and look good. They feel good on the feet to. The problem is the top of the elastic band around your ankle cuts into the back of the ankle. If your wearing athletic socks there is no problem, like the first couple of times I wore them. When I took them to the course and wore them with golf socks they were awful. The sock top sits below the band and the band rubbed the back of my ankles. After the first nine I had to go into the pro shop to get bandaids and buy a pair of socks that went over the ankle. Unfortunately I couldn't return them because I wore them outside. Do not buy these if you wear golf socks.

These feel way too big. I really like them, but They always feel like they are about to fall off. Not much support for hilly courses.

Has to be one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever put on and worn for more than an hour. My feet were killing me! No arch support at all - what were these people thinking?
I'd also recommend:
Brooks and New Balance, are my primary training shoes.

Not as wide even though a WW for my feet. Runs smaller, usually I need 9.5 but the 9 fit better. Also, toe box was not comfortable.

The first thing I noticed when putting on the shoes is that there is no tongue. I thought this would be okay as I had no problem getting them on. When I actually wore them playing golf the lack of any padding in the "tongue" caused the laces to dig in to the tops of my feet a bit. I was wearing thin summer socks, so maybe this won't be an issue when wearing thicker socks. The other issue with lowcut summer socks is that the stitching on the pull loops rubbed my Achilles raw. From now on I'll have to wear socks that are higher than the loop stitching. This won't be a problem with crew height socks, although it remains to be seen if they will wear holes in the socks. The insoles provide very little arch support. Overall, these shoes provide much less support than other FootJoy models. They are way overpriced for the quality received. One thing I do like is that the spikeless sole provides good traction. I have owned lots FootJoy golf shoes over decades of playing golf. They have all been good to excellent. The Flex XP is uncomfortable.

These shoes are joke as golf shoes. They don't support my feet in the insoles or the uppers. They are uncomfortable in that that what passes for a tongue has no padding. When wearing thin summer socks, I can feel the laces digging in to the tops of my feet. Add to this that the stitching for the pull loops rubs my Achilles tendon raw when wearing low cut socks, something most golfers wear during summer months. The insoles that come with the shoes provide almost no arch support. I removed the junk insoles and added Vionic insoles. This helped wit the arch support but does nothing for the other issues. I have owned many pairs of FootJoy golf shoes over the years. They were all good to excellent. FootJoy should be ashamed to have their name on these shoes. They are overpriced junk. I did give these shoes 2 stars. One star is for style, as these shoes do look good. One star is for the spikeless sole, which does its job, even though the uppers provide little support. Avoid these shoes if you want a comfortable golf shoe with good support

Product looks good although runs wide and the tongue of the shoe has a weird ridge that is uncomfortable when laced up. I returned the shoes.

I wore these for one round. The discomfort is significant on the top of the foot at the ankle. It is a very different feel than any Foot Joys that I have with a tongue. Recommend you walk around in the store and think about that tighter feeling. It's probably just me.

The cuff on this shoe is way to high unless you wear tall socks. I have scabs on my achilles from the cuff which also has a seam in that area making it even more abrasive. I don't see how these could have been tested and approved with current design.

I submitted a similar review for the hyperflex. I tried these in medium, and wanted to like them, but they were too wide for me. I'm sure they'd be a great choice for someone with a slightly wider foot than mine.

I did not like the overall fit and feel of this shoe. After walking 7 or 8 holes, I found that the webbing at top rear of shoe was chafing my Achilles tendon.
