I didn't realise it was a sock type shoe with a narrow opening and no tongue. This design did not suit my foot shape and did not feel comfortable. The returns system is very prompt and efficient.

Runs almost a full size large

Extremely comfortable but only after shoving my foot in tight. Unfortunately they run a half to a full size big.

This shoe doesn't fit like all of the other Footjoy shoes I have: street or golf. I returned a 9 1/2 medium (what I always were) that was too big on got a 9 medium and it is OK, but not as comfortable as all of my other styles.

Flex XP runs too large , width was fine had to return 10.5 xw - still waiting for the 10.0 xw

Comfortable shoe but material lacks support for walking a golf course that has minimum elevation changes. Sizes are larger than normal but does allow for gel insert that adds comfort. Decent grip but not good for any real moisture on course. I have bought other FJ shoes that I really appreciated. Would not recommend this design for walking the golf course.

Took 3 purchases to get size correct. Shoes are not quite up to footjoys standards. Thought they would be fine but after 18 holes not the best feeling shoe. #sweepstakes

I looked at the shoe online and it looked good. The size and the fit are very good. The material seems to be clothish but it seems to be water repellent. I have not played with it in the rain though. A couple of negatives: I wore it for the first time playing in Thailand in March 2022 and after the round the shoe looked really dusty!? No dirt or rust around and did not go into the bunker so not sure what causes it. I blew it off with air and the next rounds the same results. Another issue is that the shoe fits a little higher on the ankle so my shorter socks don't cover the back high enough and the shoe rubs. I have to wear longer socks to cover the back so it doesn't blister.

I use this shoe for everyday use, as well as golf. The design of this shoe is not as good as the previous version and here is why: 1. The area around the ankle used to be padded and was comfortable. This design has a seam at the very back where it is stitched and it rubbed a blister where the pull up and the seam meet. I cut the burned end off and left it and the problem was solved. 2. The ankle support area is ok, but does not seem to have the support as the last version. 3. The sole in the rear is narrower and not as much support as the previous shoe. 4. Also, this shoe does not appear to have the same support characteristics as the previous shoe. Overall, the shoe is pretty good but not nearly as good as the previous version. The previous version is one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever worn! They were like a pair of well work work or combat boots that fit your feet perfect and could withstand the rigors of everyday life. I wore these shoes for almost a year everyday and used they for everything from yardwork, kart racing, gym work, walking, and even golf. They fit my feet from the first time I put them on. The new Flex XPs are ok and take some getting used to. Please, incorporate the old padded ankle area, support, and wider ankle into the next gen Flex XP and it will help!

I bought these shoes 3 months ago and they are very comfortable BUT if you are looking for a waterproof shoe do NOT buy these as they are far from waterproof. I emailed customer service and they said to send them in but it takes 3 or more months for them to test them and send them back.

Mostly comfortable, but I've had to change to 1/4 length socks (not preferred) because the back of the shoe was chewing up my ankle at the elastic top. So not as comfortable as my old Nikes. Also, the black fabric shows every spec of dirt so the "black" is shaded with brown dirt. Not ideal. Not sure about whether I can wash them.

I have a wide foot and although this is an 11W shoe, I found the toebox on the narrow side crowding my toes slightly. It is a very good looking shoe however the lack of a tongue is a little bit weird and I think that the elastic that replaces what would've been the tongue will eventually stretch out and not look so good.

Positive: Very comfortable shoes. Easy to clean in the washing machine. Negative: On wet turf, my right foot often slips on a full swing. I have never had this issue before with previous spikeless shoes. Also, dusty dirt easily collects in the fabric, requiring a wash after each round.

Good shoe but not great. . Light weight and seems to grip the ground in most weather conditions. Would rate this show higher except it is a little difficult to put on. While it fits tightly around the ankle it doesn't open up as wide as other shoes that are much easier to get in. Also the back of the show is a hard material that from time to time tends to rub on the Achilles area some.

Shoes are great, order experience with FootJoy was very disappointing. Wrong product was shipped, on line support was untimely and did not address issues. Made two personal contacts by phone before one representative fixed the issue on my third contact.

I thought the photos looked sporty, but the shoes look clunky and are not very well cushioned. I returned them.

Because of "COVID Brain", I waited too long to try them on, so I was way past 30 day return period when I realized they were large and a full inch longer than my other size 12 golf shoes. Guess I will find some big foot relative to gift them to, and be more careful next time.

This is more difficult type of shoe to get on and if you wear ankle socks because of wearing shorts be careful of blisters on your Achilles
