ZERO RATING! DO NOT buy the new Gel-Kinsei Max! $180 and after less than 50 miles the tread looks like shredded pencil eraser shavings. Asics refuses to acknowledge the tread wear as 'defective', nor will offer a refund. I have purchased Asics high-end Kinsei and Kayano's for 3 decades. I started purchasing the retro shoes, because Asics wants to mirror Hoka's overly cushioned and ugly wedge shoes. Asics must have caught on that the customer is buying the retro shoes, and now upped them to over $200! Come on, Asics! Do better Asics! Asics Customer service is non-existent, and the shoes are crapola. DO NOT waste your money. I tried adding a picture for your judgement, but Asics will not allow pictures. Puzzling? You are going downhill Asics - running downhill.

I love my ASICS! These shoes will last you a long time! I had my prior pair for at least a couple years! So comfortable! My feet love them! I went with a bright color this time and love them! But they have many color options to choose from!

Very comfortable. I was looking for a shoe for my problem (plantar fasciitis) feet that was comfortable and looked good. I have worn Hoka in the past and I like these as much for comfort and better for looks.

Love the fit, cushion, weight - pretty much everything about this shoe. Its my second pair - kept my older pair for everyday wear and the new pair for work. Only downfall with new pair is they squeak on the tile floor! I wont be sneaking up on anyone at work!

Love this shoe excellent on long runs- HIIT workouts and well every workout for that matter. Not as bulky as the nimbus although I love the nimbus too. The Kinsei Max is like the love child of A Kayano and a nimbus - cant go wrong!

I hate the changes, this used to be my favorite shoe. Now they have a large toebox, I have to tightlace the shoe to keep my foot from sliding around. They are so huge that I double checked that I didn't accidentally order the wide width (I didn't) I absolutely hate them. I wore them a few times and they're now in the corner, huge waste of money. The last few Kensei models were absolutely perfect.

I am a Nimbus fan. I own 3 pairs of 23s, one pair of 24s and one pair of 25s. I love them ALL! I bought the gel Kensei max because I wanted a white athletic shoe. They are cushioned, but nowhere near as cushioned as any of the Nimbus that I own. So when the label it maximum cushioning dont expect the same as the Nimbus. The fit is good and they meet expectations otherwise.
