I was excited to try these boots out, I loved the idea of the Boa System. I do quite a bit of walking around in these I've had the boots for over a month now, and all I can say is I'm not impressed. These boots are very heavy, the bottom loop on the Boa System is causing pain. It's actually bruising the top of my foot. I'm glad I gave them a chance, but for me I will not be wearing these going forward.

I've had an accident and needed to have 5 lower vertebras fused. I can no longer tie my regular boots. The BOA system makes it possible to "lace" and "unlace' my boots with one hand.
I also have wide feet so I usually need to get a 1/2 size bigger to accommodate my toes which can lead to a sloppy fit. With the BOA system I can take up the slack and enjoy a secure fit. I work in a Meat production facility and these boots give me secured footing on greasy processing floors and have held up with the daily washings.

I received my boots on August 7th I was excited to try the boa tie syatem. The tie system was amazing but unfortunately the sole of the boot broke down on the sides to the point of my feet hurting that I couldn't wear them anymore. And now they are no longer available for return. So I guess I own a pair of boots that I'm not able to wear.

This is my of First pair of Ariat boots , I like them. Been wearing for about a month now ,pretty comfortable from the start. True to size I'm a 12m good room in toe box. No problem with waterproof feature I live Florida its been raining pretty much every day for the last month so they get wet and dirty every day . The best thing about the these boots is the boa laces if it holds up well I will probably never buy tie up boots again . They are so easy to take on and off .

I thought I would like these boots. I was excited for the BOA system. I have only worn these boots for a week. And had to switch back to my old work boots. The way the composite toe cap meets the footbed/sole of the shoe of the boot is horrible. Its at a weird angle so every time I take a step the edge of big toe is stepping down on top of it making them unbearable to walk in for any amount of time.

Finally found a pair to try on..
Instant comfort!!! The boa system is very good for uneven terrain!!
Use these boots in all weather, oil, diesel fuel,
Ect..
Very Happy with these boots.
Like to try pull on boa boots next. The extra wides fit nice, very wet condition ( hurricane, storms) broke them in quickly..
I wear 3E and some 4E and again very happy with these boots. Let's see if I get 8yrs out of them like my timberland pros.

I've worn these boots for a month and they're bad. For whatever reason they tear up the back of my heels even with wearing Merino Wool work socks with thick cushioning.

Very comfortable, BOA system works well so far. Been wearing them for about a month, very happy with the boots. Good traction, sturdy construction, all around quality boots. Do recommend

Nice boot. There are a couple quality and design changes I would recommend however.
1 the tongue does not stay centered with the boa system.
2 with the tongue not centered, the plastic insert backing of the tightening device imbedded into the tongue gets hung up on the side of the boot which will cause undue wear and failure in time.
3 the tightening eyes are situated directly above the bridge of my foot causing pain and discomfort there when snugged up.I would move the central eyes away from center an inch or so.

Initial review boa is awesome only problem I see with the boot is that there needs to be more holders for the tongue as it seems to move around in the boot and go sideways

These boots are amazing! Im not able to bend over so easily anymore, and the BOA system is saving my back! I was hesitant at first but you can dial these to your preferred tightness in about 3 seconds. Unlacing takes about half a second as well, and these boots are easy to slip on and off when loosened. This boots are super comfortable. When they were delivered I was on my way to a convention. I took them out of the box and wore them for 8 hours straight, on my feet the whole time. I had no foot pain what so ever. Ive been wearing these boots 6 days a week since and theyre holding up great! I absolutely recommend these boots!

I am a water utility worker. I've struggled to find a pair of boots that offers everything I look for: comfort, waterproofing, craftsmanship and durability. Straight out of the box, these are the most comfortable boots I've bought by far. It's my first experience with Ariat and the BOA system. I am extremely impressed with both so far. Craftsmanship of the boots seem to be too notch. Work will find out about the durability, but I'm thinking they will hold up to the challenge.

These boots are AWESOME. I got them and immediately wore them to a 8hr convention to break them in. 8hours of walking around the convention and my feet didnt hurt at all. I cant wait to put these to the test in the field, so far theyve exceeded my expectations. 8hr in brand new boots and absolutely no pain.

I can't rate the boots because i never got them. But what I can rate is the customer service.
I ordered this boots one month ago.
They delivered me completely wrong boots. Wrong size wrong model. After I told them about that. I had customer service Mr. Grant "trying" to help me.
Basically, send wrong boots back get the right ones.
All good. Now another 1-2 weeks passed. And I still have not received my correct boots. And very friendly Mr Grant doesn't reply anymore.

I love the boa system but these boots are NOT waterproof! I did all the proper care for these boots, bought them 12/17/24. 3 inches of snow on the ground and my feet and socks were soaked. All the water went right through the seams, terrible manufacturing. I returned them today and got timberlands instead. I won't buy ariats again.

The plastic boa system cable guides push into the bone on the top of my feet, grinding on tendons and leaving visible bruises on the top of my feet. It's not a break in issue- I've worn the boots through 168 straight work hours. They just don't work for me and they may not for you either.

These are nicely made, however I received a used pair rather than new. Not that it mattered much, because they are super heavy and it feels like I'm Frankenstein's monster walking around in them. Not comfortable at all, especially for someone being on their feet 10 hours a day.
