Stunning leather - this is my 4th D Marten purchase - I’m 64 yrs old and find (so far) every single pair incredibly comfortable: despite cancer, hip replacement, neuropathy, OR RATHER, “BECAUSE OF” these challenges I find these boots to be perfect for my feet and keep me up and walking a couple miles per day and playing my Les Paul while standing. (Yes, that’s it)

How rare is it to get *absolute perfection* when you are ordering anything these days?! These boots were so carefully made, I could find no errors in the continuity and quality of the leather, stitching, shaping, soles, etc. The shoe wrapping inside the box was also extremely nice and thorough. Exactly what you want when buying something new. The pair I ordered was a little tight for me right at the stitching that joins the lacing, tongue, and the rest of the upper that goes over your forefoot at the metatarsals. A slightly wider size option would have solved that problem. That issue aside, (my problem because of an injury) I loved these boots and didn't want to send them back.

These docs were super cute!! I wear size 10 and ordered a size 10 and they were huge.. so sad- the 9 was to small I need a 9 1/2 and they don’t make 1/2 sizes.. the material was soft and they felt really cute..

I love these boots! They were a little stiff but nothing a little break in period won't fix. And I'm sure they'll break in beautifully. The craftsmanship is what you expect from Doc Martens and I look forward to many years of wear.

these are great! I have them in black; I just add an arch support.

Classic. Super soft leather, needs no breaking in. At last a boot that fit my size US 4.5-5 foot! (It did require an insole, but that’s expected with super small feet. Thanks Zappos, for offering these in your inventory!

I have many pairs of Docs and always buy a women's size 9. These boots are beautiful -- love the Ambassador leather in this color -- but the pair I received was at least a full size larger than normal. They fit like a 10 with way too much extra space in the toe box, even tightly laced.

DM's sizing seems a bit off. I'm sure it happens. No big deal.
