Gorgeous boots. Make sure to read the listed circumference. They do not accommodate larger legs like my own.

These boots are tts in length and width, however, the shaft is very narrow and hard to zip up even with the elastic inset. I would have to take these to be stretch a good 1/2 to 1 inch to fit my calves and they are not large.

I was skeptical at first because the reviews mentioned calf issues. I have big calves. I took a chance and ordered the brown. It was a bit of a challenge zipping just above the ankle. I think it’s because of the stitching placement. One side of the zipper is leather and other side is elastic material. Once on, I had room in the calf, not tight at all. The footbed is comfortable. I am between an 8 and 8.5 and I ordered 8 based on other reviews referencing fit. I’m glad I ordered 8 because it’s not snug at the toe or heel. I can comfortably wear a cotton sock and my feet do not feel pinched. I really like them and ordered the black as well. Now full disclosure, the zipper on the black was much harder for me. I was like how can the exact same boot be this hard to zip up. I feel like the issue with the boot is the rigid zipper and stitching placement. Alas, WD40 and smooth zippering. Also, I think if you “can” get past the zipper and break them in these could be your ride or die boots for life. Just me. I do understand money is involved and you may not want to fight with your boots.

Finally I find some boots that work for my small feet and are practical. Cab be worn to the polo match or to the museum. Well-made, gorgeous leather, comfortable, lots of style. I have skinny calves, so they work for me. With leggings they will look sporty and chic.

I absolutely love these boots! Due the quality of the leather, they are taking a while to break in but that is fine by me. The footbed is extremely comfortable as I have come to love about Doc Martens. The calf with of the shaft is also tight due to the new leather which is nice knowing that when they’re broken in, they won’t be too loose or sloppy looking. The black leather is gorgeous and they look great! The soles are great and I appreciate that they have traction. Highly recommend these boots!

I’ve always wanted a pair of riding boot style boots, and when I saw these online, I kind of gasped. I was so excited. But when I received them, I was less excited. They are still cute! But something is just… off. They kind of look like really tall rain boots. I really thought these were my dream boots. Clearly, I think my expectations were a little too high, haha.

Really wanted these boots to work, but contrary to other reviews, I found the shafts to be very wide. I think I would trip over the comically wide calf area, otherwise I would have kept them as they seem to be made with quality. They seemed comfy too, although heavy (which is a brand trademark is it not?). Sadly, I will have to return.

Narrow at the ankle area

Stiff, tight fit. Length and width are good, but the leather is so stiff and the ankle is very stiff and tight. Returning!

Boots looked a bit clunky. Really wanted to like them.

Tight in calf’s and I have small calf’s. Digs into ankles and looks very large from above.

The boots are beautiful but I couldn’t get my foot inside. However I forced my foot in cause I really wanted it but it was super uncomfortable. So sad had to return them
