Runs very narrow. There is absolutely no flexibility in the sole. Since it doesn't bend, my heel would pull out, even with the snugger sizes.

Good fit and size. Leather was super supple. But too much black when the thick cushiony sole is also black.

They are very nice shoes, but they did not look good with the outfit I bought them for

I like the shoe but I don't like the contrast between the gray suede and the black bottom of the shoe so I'm returning. They sole felt cushiony and I like that but there isn't enough arch support for me which is why I have to return .

I just received this shoes and I'm in love with them

Love the shoe so much, wore them around the house and found that the strap was cutting into my top foot, no matter how much I adjusted the strap, just could not get a comfortable feel. I am so disappointed, I desperately wanted to keep this shoe. Sadly, am returning.

There are virtually no reviews for L’amour des Pieds, which is a shame for those of us with feet issues. I purchased these through Zappos, but via Amazon in beige nubuck. They are lovely, but sadly, not for me. The shoes run just a squidge on the narrow side, especially across the balls of the feet. Consequently, if you have tailor’s bunions (as I do) or regular bunions, the foot strap may not work. It cut in a bit and hurt. I think it would stretch with wear, but don’t want to risk it. OTH, if my feet were narrow to medium, I’d jump on these—the soles are marshmallow, the arch support is moderate to good, and they really are cute.

The toe of the shoe was way too narrow for my foot. The ankle fastening felt strange and ungainly.

Way too narrow for my wide forefoot. Cut right across the big and little toe bones. Very uncomfortable!

The left shoe was narrower. I have another color and it fits perfectly.

I had hoped that these would fit - love the design and the color. The toe box was just too small to accommodate my hallux rigidus big toe

I normally wear a 10.5 narrow, and I'm new to this brand. I have no complaints about the medium width because as other reviewers mentioned, the shoe runs narrow, so it was great for me. The heel was deep enough that my foot wasn't coming out of it, and the strap across the foot holds the shoe on the foot well. But the surprise here was the length. I bought the 11 because as a half size I usually go up, especially in european brands, but this one was way too long for me. I ordered the 10, and that was too long also! I'm not sure if I'll go for the 9.5, because of the placement of the arch support, but I'm tempted. This shoe is extremely comfortable while also being stylish. It can be worn with a lot of different things so... still thinking about it.

Soooo disappointed! i love the style of this shoe and was thrilled that a wide size was available -- The foot bed is extremely comfortable but alas the "wide" is not really "wide" and the instep cuts into the sides of my foot. Sadly, must return.

I liked this shoe but it was a little too long and the 1/2 side smaller was to tight over my bunion. Also when I tried this on and walked around the house my feet were making a weird sucking noise, maybe that would go away after the shoe was worn in but it was strange!

Size was fine. They work. Not great arch support, but the strap structure help hold feet in place. I have high arches and I can see a big gap between my arch and the shoe. They are okay looking. Likely won't purchase more of this brand.

Great looking shoe unfortunately I have to return them. I have flat feet with a wide width and bunions. The front of the shoe hits my bunion and is just too snug for my fat feet. Ugh!

I fell in love when I took them out of the box though they will be going back. Too narrow.

I so wanted and needed to love these but there is one challenge for me. I can wear my 3/4 orthotics in them which made them perfect in addition to the very supportive foot bed. The issue is that the heel width is too narrow causing a high risk of twisting my ankle. I had to return them based on that alone. Otherwise a near perfect shoe. This entire brand is high quality and if the heel base was a half inch wider I would buy 10 pair, but alas they are ankle twisters.

In my opinion, these shoes are great for the "runway". For my use they are not so practical. They look enormous on my size 10 foot. They are not the shoes for a romantic evening when you want to look feminine. SET, Knoxville, Tennessee

My left foot felt as if there was a lump in the shoe .

The velcro constantly comes undone and the strap flops around once you walk in them an hour or so. Annoying.

These are not worth the price! First, they run very narrow. I bought an 8 W and I could not fit my foot comfortably. The leather is a bit scratchy and the heel is a very soft rubber, bouncy. Almost no arch support. The style is cute, but they feel very cheap on and cheaply made. I have plantar fascitis and usually wear Finn Comfort, Aetrex, Dansko in 39. If you like the comfort,support,and quality of those brands, you will not be impressed by these.

This was one of my quickest return decisions to Zappos. I had noticed one prior review said these run 'a smidge' narrow; I couldn't even try mine on because they were so narrow. Further, once I saw their ho-hum style and smelled their odor, which was more chemical than leather, I knew I would return and not exchange them. I'm sure they work for some, but a real miss for me.

Could not even get my wide foot into these shoes. They are marked wide but are much narrower than my wide width shoes and much narrower tan Born's that are not a wide width.. I had to return them. I was very disappointed because I love the style. I'm just glad I bought from Zappo's so I didn't have to pay to return them.
