I use these boots for moderate hiking in damp weather. They're challenging to tie tightly enough as the laces keep loosening up. The right boot does fine in wet weather; the left boot leaked the first time I wore it when walking through wet grass (not puddles) during a very light rain. I like the color, the look of the boot, and the plaid on the back. However, these are the least cushy Skechers I've bought (I have a different style of boot, sneakers, and slip ons--all super comfortable). I'm disappointed in Synergy - Plaid Mood and don't recommend them.
