Versatile shoes. Shorts or hiking pants. Wore them traveling this summer. Safari in Africa to hiking in Oregon. Liked them so much I ordered a second pair. I wear the high top ones as well.

I've purchased the Moab Speed 2 Gore-Tex about a month ago and the cushion and stability of the shoe is very good. However, the design of the shoe and toe box feels confined/tight. I am a huge supporter of Merrill shoes and their sole and high arch support. I have narrow feet and ordered these shoes on-line. I recommend trying these shoe on at a store before buying. Hope others find this review helpful.

I always wear a size 13. But the gortex shoe is smaller. I had to order a size 14. A 13.5 would fit better, but they don't make them. The water proofing of the gortex works well.

I walked all over Milan and Lake Cuomo with the shoes and they held up great. There were very comfortable despite the lack of break-in time and cobblestone streets. Milan had heavy rains before my arrival which is why I wanted this shoe. However, the rain stopped and it got sunny and warm. I never had a chance to test the gore tex but my feet did get hot. I brought heavy socks so I would recommend using a thinner sock. I am looking forward to trying them in the fall and winter.

After the store near me that sold Merrell closed, I tried a couple of other brands. I am happily back in Merrell's.

Great shoes. Currently in Costa Rica. Very comfortable to hike in these. They replaced a pair of Merrells that I owned for many years.

These are nice looking shoes. I had to put my own insoles in them as the arch support was not the best. I wish the toe box was bigger. I cannot speak yet to the waterproofness of them but as they are Gore-Tex I have no reason to believe they wont stand up.

I bought the Moab Speed 2 Womens Wide in Khaki (no longer available) about a month ago. These were very comfortable and wider than my other Merrill sneakers. I really liked them so I just bought another pair in gray. These wont show the dirt as much as the khaki.

Sturdy, waterproof, hiking sneaker. Feels like you are floating as you walk.

The colors and the material are fabulous.... That's where it ends. I can't make myself wear these. I wore them to work I had extreme leg fatigue and pain all day. Thought I would give them a second chance wore them on a 5 mile hike yesterday. Actually I wore them maybe a half a mile before taking them off and doing the hike barefoot. I'm sure I would hurt worse today had I worn them. They are big and sloshy on my feet yet they're the same size Merrells I've bought in the past, there's little to no support and feels a lot like those cheap $20 shoes at that big box store. I paid a lot more money than that to hate them!

This has become my favorite daily shoe, extremely comfortable and versatile for work indoors and out. Does great in wet conditions with outstanding grip and always keeps my feet dry, even when I accidentally step in a puddle!

Worth the purchase! These things are mean! Man, cool, light, comfyready for anything you throw at them. I love it. Ive worn them trekking through the desert. Ive worn them hiking in the mountains. I feel like they fit a little bigger than true to size but I double sock anyway when I roam so it makes no difference to me. Just keep that in mind. Go get you a pair of these. You wont regret it.

Doesnt cinch right I dont like the fit. I never wear them. Should have returned them.

I wear these for work on rainy or snowy days. I would wear them more often, but the tread is kind of aggressive. Maybe as they get worn down i will wear them even more

I purchased the grey pair and have had these for about a month now. When they arrived, I was really surprised at how lightweight they were. So far, I love these a lot - the color, comfort, durability, and weight. I haven't had the opportunity to test them in water/rain, but I've no doubt they'll do well. No breaking in time was needed. I was able to slip into them and go. I'm an adult leader with a Scouts BSA troop of girls so we camp monthly. I can't wait to get more use out of these!

Most comfortable shoes I've worn in years. They are the 3rd pair of Merrells that ive purchased in the last year for my walking program. Each pair i upgrade to a better shoe until finding these Miab Speed 2! I talked my friend into a pair! I wear mine as much as possible, even when not walking. Totally recommend them!

Only had these since 03/08/2024 and its 4/25/2024 and they are already falling apart. Pieces of the shoe and ripping off the top.

I normally wear size 8-9. I ordered 81/2 in these. They were very tight. I would have needed at least a size bigger. And they were very stiff. For the price I expected more. I had to return them

I believe that these are good shoes for everyday use. I work standing on concrete pretty much all day and they are wonderful for that. I bought them because they looked like reliable shoes that I could you everyday indoor or outdoor. From my experience they are. I give them constant wear and tear from rubbing against and kicking (out of clumsiness). I havent gone hiking in them yet but I can say playing in the yard with the dogs they offer great traction even in wet conditions.

What a great, versatile shoe! Love the street-ready style and how lightweight these are. They proved to be ultra comfy after walking all day in them and even withstood a few inches of slush and snow.

These shoes look great, but the sizing is off. Wide is too wide as expected and standard width is too narrow in toe box. I have had several pairs of moab vent and moab vent 2 that fit perfect, but these speed 2's and moab vent 3's just dont fit me right.
