Comfortable and warm for our 30 degree temps. I have a high arch and have to pull hard to get on. Heel cup can get in the way and I have to wiggle my foot in, so not the easiest to get on, but once on the comfort and warmth of these, not to mention how great they look is worth it. The heel loops are great to help get them on, without them I think they would not work for me. I wear a size 8.5 but bought in a 9 which is a good fit with winter weight socks.

Disappointing. Not up to standard- very bad rough seams in heel area which rub blisters on both heels. Maybe 2stars is too much, considering these were not inexpensive. Since I wore them before learning the problem I cant return for a refund.

These will be perfect to slip on and shovel the snow off the driveway. Seems like they run a little large.

Have a previously pair of Merrells, like them better as they felt more supportive. These boots are very light.

I wanted to like these as I really need a replacement for my current winter boot of 10 years. But... the boot was too difficult to get my foot into even using both hands. I have always worn a size 7M, the the mouth of this boot was not the standard Merrill fit. I had to return

This shoe IS oddly difficult to put -- I don't quite know why -- but once it's on it can stay on the entire day. It is a comfortable shoe, easy to walk in.

I bought these to walk in winter conditions and they don't do well in ice . Ok for everyday wearing not for mixed slushy snow or ice .

I bought these because they didn't have to boots I wanted (Women's Encore 4 Bluff Zip Polar Waterproof) in my size. I thought they would be a bit more stylish, but they are pretty blah. In addition, I ordered a size 6, which is the same as 2 other pairs of Merrells that I own (ankle boots and Mocs), but these were not a 6! Maybe a 5.5? Very, very snug

These were very difficult to get on, which is why I ordered something with a zipper. Didn't zip down far enough. Although they say leather, I don't think they are. I returned them.

I gave these as a gift to someone and I know she loves them. The fit is perfect and the comfort and support is perfect. Happy Trails!!

I thought these boots would have the same support as my Merrell walking shoes. There was no support at all so I returned them.

So sad they were too snug had to return. They were very high quality just narrow.

My Encore Ice Mid Zip are the most comfortable ever. From day 1 my feet felt great. A lot of new shoes will sometimes make your feet hurt. Not these shoes, worr them all day long no issues at all.

Comfortable and stylish shoes! I like the warm, cozy inside of the boot. I wanted something a little fancier than hiking boots to go out during the winter and these fit the bill perfectly. I got a half size bigger so I could wear thicker socks, and they fit great!

The upper is quite stiff so at times they rub against lower calf. The sole doesn't have a great tread, can easily slip if not careful. Was hoping for better but decided to keep.

Difficult at first for those with high arches. It is hard to get the foot into the shoe, but fine size once in. It is getting a little easier over time.

Ive owned every version of Encore and this one did not disappoint. Same support and comfort as slip ons.

Really disappointed in these boots. Not Merrells typical quality. No support. Hurt my feet. Really sorry that I packed and lugged them to Iceland!

Comfortable right away, true to size, stylish boot.

Love these boots....comfy, warm, easy to slide into.
