The overall fit of the shoe was good; however, I didn't feel there was enough arch support, and the toe box was tight on the right foot. My arch ached after wearing the shoes for a day.

I was excited to get these-a zipper is so helpful, but darn, way to wide and my heel also slipped out. Sorry to have to return them.

Utterly useless winter boot — don’t waste your money. Completely uninsulated and pointless for anything other than a 40 degree rainy day.

I typically like Merrell's "mid" height shoes and boots for the ankle support. I was looking for a solid black shoe or boot for extended urban walking - something that looked a little less like a hiking boot. These have the right appearance but lacked the expected Merrell fit and comfort. I found them stiff, too loose in the heel, and without the degree of cushioning I need. Too bad.
