Using the chart given on Zappos, with my size 7 1/2 I ordered a size 39. Well, that was too big so I wanted a simple exchange to a 38. Since they had no 38's in any of the colors, I just returned them for a refund. Then I found a size 38 at Dillard's and have received them. They are perfect and gorgeous!

I originally ordered a size 8, but I received a euro size 39 (size 8-8.5) - which was too big. I had to return them for a euro size 38 (size 7.5-8). It would be helpful to specify when you are using euro sizing.

Love these. Exactly what I thought they'd be... comfy, solid yet funky. Wore all day the first day. Color is a subtle red...

These are really cute but not as comfortable as I'd hoped. I think it's more my foot than the boot, though, so I'm guessing they'd do better for others. My foot is very narrow and flat. I liked that I could tie them for a better fit, but they felt uncomfortable on the top when they were tied tightly enough to fit my foot. The insole was not as supportive and comfortable as my Taos Star sneakers. Not bad, just not for me.

Cute boot but a bit youthful for this 70+ year old. Also, more of a fashion boot than I wanted.

I have 2 other pair of crave boots and love them, thought these would be perfect, but the leather seems harder and they cut into the back of my ankle. sadly I am returning them.

I bought the 8–8.5 as I usually wear an 8.5 in boots. With a normal sock these boots are a just a bit spacious and offer a reasonable amount of room in the toe box. A slightly thicker sock works better and makes sense considering these will be great for colder weather. Good cushioning inside. Very easy to walk in and they are quiet, not clompy or stompy. Beautifully crafted and well-made with a sole suitable for colder weather. Definitely can be dressed up or down. A perfect replacement to my older boots that I wore constantly. The product images of the black boot make the silver hardware appear very bright. I am not a fan of bright silver hardware, so I bought these with the intention of returning them. To my surprise, the hardware on the black boots wasn't bright at all. Rather, it is a burnished silver that nicely matches the overall look.

Perfect support, beautiful rich color, top grain leather and just the right amount of heal. Love them.

I love this boot, I purchased it in the red. It is comfortable to walk in, has a nice heel height, and attractive. I will wear it with jeans and with skinny pants.

These are very well made beautiful boots. I need arch support to counteract a tailors bunion and these boots have it. The leather is stiff at first but is breaking nicely after two wears. I wore them all day the first day with no issues.

This boot is adorable but leather a little too stiff for me making it uncomfortable and needing a fair breaking in period. My feet are narrow which made the fit of this boot perfect and the insole removes so my orthotic fit right in. But the upper is stiff so when I walked it bent mid foot on top which was so uncomfortable. I wanted to love them, they are so cute if they work for you!

Such a handsome shoe, but I couldn’t make it work! Sent them back. Too wide even when laced up tightly. The buckle at the shaft appears to be for decoration only. I couldn’t tighten it. Lots of heel slippage.

Beautiful boot! Too narrow for me and I have a narrow fit. I wear a size 9 and the length was fine. Such a bummer. It’s sooo pretty. I’d also have to put in some support on bottom as they aren’t comfortable/supportive enough.

I had high hopes for these. I normally love Taos shoes. Their insoles are so perfectly supportive. For some reason, the insoles on these shoes hurt my feet. The arch is too high on the outside edge while not quite supportive enough under the metatarsal. It kind of pushes my feet to pronate. There’s so much to love about them, they’re very well made, high quality, fuzzy inside for warmth and comfort, roomy in the toe box. I think someone with a rigid arch might love them.

I loved these boots! Super cute. Only thing is that I found they run a smidge narrower than I expected. So I’m returning for a wide. Otherwise I love everything about the shoe! Very trendy and appears to be well made.

I love the boot, but its marked as a wide on the box and its definitely not wide. Taos needs to offer a true wide.

very stick, not comfortable to walk in

The edge of the heal on the inside of the boot was very uncomfortable.

I love the boot, but returning because it hurts the arch of my foot.
