I just wanted to share my story and say thank you while I was on my lunch break at work. I purchased the Hey Dudes on the above order number. 1 year and some change ago on June 15th 2024 I delivered and brought a beautiful baby girl into the world that i tried so desperately to have for years. My delivery was did not go as planned and I almost didn't make it out of that hospital. I quickly got extremely sick after I got an infection in my blood from delivery. I turned sepsis and my organs began to shut down and I was quit literally "on my way out the door". The doctors gave me medicine (I can't remember what it's called) but its job was to keep my heart pumping and blood flowing to my heart. Then, the doctors could determine what needed to happen next to keep me alive. When they gave me that medicine, it took away blood flow and circulation from my extremities such as feet and fingers. Unfortunately blood flow was gone too long in my toes and my little piggies didn't make it. My toes turned black and hard as rocks. While they were more concerned with other things going on with my such as blood pressure too low to register, my kidneys shut down and needed dialysis, I had a tracheotomy from my airway swelling shut, exploratory surgery, hysterectomy and all kinds of other issues, my little toes was the least of their concern. After my long hospital stay, doctors appointments, procedures, from where my toes lost circulation for too long they had to amputate the tips and bottoms of my toes. I have permanent nerve damage in my feet. For the last year (rain and snow) I have worn sandals religiously without socks because of how painful it is for for anything to touch my toes/feet. It's painful to walk, shower, wear any type of shoe, socks, to be covered with a blanket in bed, any type of contact with my toes with anything is unbearable. There is not a second in the day that my toes do not hurt. I can't continue to wear sandals in Ohios weather so I have been on the hunt for something that I can stand to walk in. I've went to countless stores trying and looking for shoes. Nothing was even bearable to put on, let alone walk in. One of my friends suggested hey dudes. You've earned a life long customer. Literally. You have no idea how much you changed my life. I will not buy any other type of shoe from any other company. You made me feel human again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
