Great boot that's very warm. Easy breakin period .

Bought my LL Bean boots 20 years ago. Never wore them. NYC snow was mild. 2026, we just had16" of snow. These boots were great!! Exception: leather finger pull hook broke on the right boot. Weak leather. After going over the leather strap area gently with a flat metal file, I used Fiebing's Leathercraft cement plus a German clamp to repair the broken strap. Good as new!!! Love these boots.

Same classic boot. Durable, warm, functional and well made.

Unfortunately we had to return these boots! My husband loved them and was hoping he could wear them! But he has balance issues, and the way the sole is made caused him to almost fall a couple of times. The construction was great! Really the boot was very well made and fit perfectly.

Gift for hubby. Still debating if he likes. He's use to a different type of boot.

great to walk the jersey shore in Jan feet warm and dry when I was out and when I got home wearing only reg socks glad the boots are made in maine also

I have owned several pair of bean boots through the past 40 years. From my experience, there have been two major changes/upgrades since the mid 1980s with the latest taking place within the past year. I've found the latest change includes upgraded fit(including half sizes) as well as a noticeable upgrade on the quality of the leather. These changes are a definite improvement and I highly recommend these boots.

I have wanted a pair of these forever! I have only worn them once, but they are very comfortable and stylish. I look forward to wearing them this fall; and winter. I hope they are warm.

Great shoes never owned a pair until I purchased these

I have had my pair of Bean Boots since I was in high school (1989). I wear them all year, but considerably more here in the winters of Massachusetts. I occasionally treat the uppers with leather cleaner and conditioner. They could use a bit of a resole. But other than changing the laces a few times, I have done absolutely nothing but wear them. They still feel great, block out the weather, and look classic. At this point, I couldn't even said I'd paid pennies for them, it's much less than that and they're still going with no end in sight. Buy these boots, you'll never need to again.

A great boot for weather conditions in Vermont! Would buy again, if I ever need to.

I ordered these for my husband to replace a different brand of boots that were of very similar style but were most definitely not waterproof. He loves these. He says they are comfortable, warm and most definitely waterproof. They arrived just in time for us to get a couple inches of snow followed closely a week later by torrential rains and they wore perfectly throughout it all.

So far they have lived up to the LL Bean reputation. I was nervous about following the sizing instructions but did, and they fit perfectly. I wasn't sure about the chain tread but it clears snow and mud better than the lug soles on my previous boots. I've only had them for a few weeks so I can't speak about long term performance yet.

My go to boot from November Til april here in ny. I wear them Every where. Super comfortable .

I received my boots today. I was so worried about the fit because of my wide foot. I ended up getting the EE wide and chose my normal size of 9.5. They are actually perfect. The fit is better than I'd expected. They will be my new favorite boot to wear. The card inside said Liz made them. Thanks Liz for making my boots. You are the best!!!

I bought a pair for both my son and son in law. They both loved them the moment they put them on, stating there was no break-in needed unlike traditional work, hiking and cowboy boots they are used to wearing. I guess I'll have to treat myself to a pair now too...

Got my Bean Boots. Robin H. at the flagship store in Freeport, got me properly fitted and since I needed a wide size, was able to order them. Wore them in the snow two weeks ago and they were great!

Awesome boots! Bought them and wore them out of town for a weekend without breaking them in. Did a ton of walking and not typical break in issues

I had a pair of these many years ago when I lived in the Northeast. They were my first choice when I moved back and I wasn't disappointed. They fit, they're warm and most important, they keep my feet dry!
