Other hand sewn moccasin boat shoe type shoes are going to run you in the $300 range but these are half the price and maybe even slightly better leather quality. I did kind of mess up because I bought the 3i instead of the one eye cuz my goal is to use them as like slip-ons for winter and muddy weather. Quick access shoes, but I definitely feel way more comfortable walking with the three eyes, they won't slip off. They feel snug and the lug soles are amazing.

I bought these a month ago. I never owned the first pair like other reviewers have noted. But WOW are these nice. So comfortable, leather is incredible, and the stitching is amazing. So worth it!

Only worn a few times but so far I'm very pleased. I purchased these to replace a very similar pair made by a former competitor that lasted over 25 years. These seem to be of equal or better quality. They'll probably take awhile to break-in but they were already more comfortable after just a few days wear.

Actually made of hide leather! These will surely last a decade or longer!

I like everything about these shoes. The quality is excellent; the fit is 'right on'; the comfort - even for the first wear - is uncompromising; and the function of the shoe, not only for every-day wear but for hiking, is flawless. I bought one pair, wore them for a month and ordered a backup. I'm hoping they'll still be in the catalog when the ones I'm wearing wear out!

my new pair of allagash mocs are the third pair I have owned over many years. They are sturdy, fit well and look great. I have received compliments on how they look.

Just bought these shoes. No need to break them in. I bought these for my husband. They were comfortable as soon as he put them on. The suede is very soft & warm. The soles are sturdy and slip resistant , which is good because his gait is very unstable unsteady and these shoes help him prevent falling.

Love this shoe. I have an older pair that is probably 15 years old. Glad to now have a new one. Very comfortable, no break in needed. Good toe box also.
