I'll update if warranted. I bought this pair along with several other LL Bean shoes this winter. I wore this pair maybe a dozen times for an hour or so each time; always for light duty around the house or say grocery shopping. When worn with thick socks, they fit comfortably, when worn without socks, they were on the comfortably loose side. In any case, nothing where I would have ever thought a hole would develop, and so soon. But after about a dozen wears, a hole developed on the left pinky-toe side. The wool must have been amazingly thin and or cheap in that area. Perhaps I just got a bad pair, I'm in the process of return/exchanging them as I'm hopeful this next pair will have LL Bean normal quality. They're extremely comfortable shoes/clogs. If purchasing, keep an eye on the wool wearing thin, quickly.

They need to give you the option to make it a wide width for people with wide feet and also add a little art support to it and that would really make the slippers the bomb.
