This is a Christmas gift, my wife has not opened it yet (of course), and I'm wondering if she wants to change it for another of your products, will that still possible after the holiday?

Best winter boots. Comfy, warm, keep my feet dry and toasty

These were great right out of the box. Able to do a hike on the first day of wearing them. Ordered a 1/2 size larger and wide width so feet had more than enough room with thicker socks and any swelling.

Very comfortable and warm. I recommend these boots.

Very warm, very easy to get on and off. Once you lace them just right, the side zipper is generous enough you can slip them on and off willy nilly. I ordered wide because I've had problems with LL Bean women's shoes being tight at the heel. Wide seems to be perfect for me, definitely no heel problem this time around! Winter isn't here yet so I haven't tried them in the snow. But they're so warm and the waterproof layer comes up high enough that I'm sure they'll be great. Love the way they look too.

I love the quality of these boots ...very warm. sturdy and comfortable. and kind of like a boot/snow boot. They look real cute too. It's been too warm to wear them yet. but should be good in the snowy, cold weather. I have the lower cut storm chaser boot in 7 1/2 wide, and ordered these in same size.

These boots were everything I was looking for. Roomy toe box but my heel doesn't slip. Good for walking in snowy or slushy conditions. I would have given 5 stars but even though there is a side zipper I have to unlace them pretty darn far to get them on.

A good boot has taken sometime to break it in,did go up a half size for thicker socks . Has good grip and keeps feet warm .

Fit well, comfortable on feet for 12 hrs. working on concrete surface. Kept feet warm when moving around. Love the side zip feature, easy to put on and take off

I love these boots, but the zipper on the side is tricky as it gets stuck on the material that allows the boot to open up. Hoping that will ease as time goes along. Otherwise I am very pleased with these boots.

I like the boits. I wish they had a loop on the back to assist putting on without having to untie

Great boot, toasty, good tread. Love the zipper just wish I could put on and remove the boot by simply unzipping it. The one thing I hate most about winter boots is having to strap in was really hoping for more of an easy on and off experience. Who knows maybe after I've had them for awhile they'll stretch a bit and the zipper will be all I need?

I bought these boots because they were rated the WARMEST in your catalogue, and I only wear them when shoveling snow. After about 1 1/2 hours my feet started to get cold which, I didn't expect. Otherwise, they do keep your feet dry. I would still recommend them but just be aware they don't keep your feet warm for longer than about an hour and a half.

I am usually a 7.5-8 and had to return twice and ended up with a size 9! My foot is on the narrow side but I have a very high arch so it is still a little hard to get my feet into them and they are also now a little large and make my little feet look gigantic. But they have good cushioning and decent enough traction - though not particularly warm at all. I dont love them but they are good in winter.

Comfortable boot, stylish yet practical. Easy off/on. However as with some other L.L. Bean boots-very narrow toe.

I really like the look of these boots, the traction and the warmth - though so far I haven't worn them in below 0 temps. The traction has been great for walking my dog and the main reason I bought these. The zipper on the side makes these super easy to get on and off which I love. The only real issue I have with them is there isn't much room for the pant leg. It seems odd but I struggle each time I wear them to get my pants situated so that they're not cutting into my ankle or hurting my leg in some other way. I don't wear wide leg pants but usually jeans so they are thick but I've never had an issue with getting them into boots before. I did size up as I went through the size guide and that's what was recommended. I'm hoping these hold up for a few years. Unfortunately, the last 2 pairs of boots I bought - one from LL Bean and the other from a competitor - did not.

Loved the look and durability so I ordered them. Boots were a bit tight, in foot, on initial try-on. I hoped they were going to break in but after a handful of times, my feet are screaming!

The boots are great quality like all of LL Bean's products, but these are not easy for me to get on/off. Maybe I need to replace the laces to allow them to be wider for my foot and calf. They would also benefit from a tab in the back you could use the tug them on more easily. I'm just not sure for the price I paid that fighting with my boots is something I want to do.

I like everything about these boots except the inside lining needs to be thicker and more cushioning. There is a sharp part on the inside of the boot that digs into my outer ankle. If the fake fur was inside the whole boot instead of being a decoration that would work, or add more of a padded lining.

These boots definitely keep my feet warm through an hour to 90 minutes of fun time in the snow. But they are really hard to get on and they don't accommodate bigger calves, at all. I contemplated returning them. But I haven't found ANY good snow boots, so I figured I'd keep these.

Other reviewers made reference to the small foot opening. I thought my small foot would be able to fit. I was wrong. It was extremely tight and very difficult to get on and off. It was very comfortable once I was able to work my foot in it.

This boot is not easy on or easy off. Does not keep feet warm even with heat warmer socks. Can get only 2.5 miles in snow before cold feet. Disappointed. Are comfortable for hiking. Would not recommend for cold weather.my snow sneakers are warmer!!
