This shoe is so nice. It is very comfortable. It is not slip resistent so just a heads-up. I slipped at a restaurant and at a store after entering on a rainy day. But as far as desin goes, it is so versital and well made. Great quality materials too! I like the thick sole for cold weather.

Love the leather and chunky heel/sole. These loafers are a nice update to my traditional loafer look. Would love to see them in cordovan. Be aware they run a little large ie perfect for me if I wore thick socks, but since I don't will be exchanging for a half size down.

I just received these shoes. They are attractive, quality shoes. Two earlier reviews said to order down in size. I definitely *would not* order down. If you order down, they may not fit you.

These shoes were just what I wanted for a trip I recently took. At first glance, they were perfect. As I was packing them, I noticed a slash mark across the top of the left shoe and into the part of the shoe designated for the coin in "penny" loafers--as if an accident occurred before it left the manufacturer. I bought size 10 and they fit well. I would recommend them--if they do not have a cut across the top. I will be returning them.

Comfortable after one breaks the shoes in. Love the rugged sole. Good for a trip where you will walk much. I gave the shoe a 4 rating because there was a seam inside that was scraping against my foot,but once i taped a piece of foam on the seam, it was fine. Yo from NM

The back of the shoe rubs against the back of my foot so a cushion is needed. Other than that, great shoes!

Loved these loafers. They looked chic and modern and high quality, but they were wayyyy too wide for my feet. Like I could tuck all 10 of my fingers into the sides while it was on. Wish I could have kept them.

Nice shoe in the picture, good tread for slippery walks, classic style. Reviews warned that the sizing was odd and the shoe large but narrow. I wear 9 or 9.5 depending on the shoe. I ordered 9 and that was a good fit.... my foot fit fine, but the heel was loose and it slipped up and down. The shoes "ate" my socks.... also there was not much support for the arch. I returned these shoes

Loafers look nice but way too narrow. I couldn’t get my feet into them.

Had to return because my toe box was super narrow, and I have narrow feet.

I wear it often and it really holds up well. Great quality.

These shoes are excellent. Yes, they run a bit big, but their natural rubber grip, higher profile sole and solid construction are wonderful. Nice sturdy leather and stylish. I hope Bean keeps these in their repertoire indefinitely!

Love the rubber sole, leather uppers, but it is sized a whole size too big, requiring a long trip to the store to exchange.

I don't understand the negative comments about these loafers, you can't ask for anything more, they are comfortable, stylish and well made. These shoes are timeless, go with so many styles and will last you a lifetime.

The loafer is comfortable, looks sharp & durable for everyday wear. I'm quite pleased with this LLBean purchase!

I love them- based on reviews, it took a long time to decide on what size to order. I decided to order my normal size - size 9. They are a bit big in the heel - but this allows me to wear them with thicker socks.

These loafers are very comfortable and stylish. The insole is cushioned and the width (B) fits perfectly.

These are exactly as described! Beautiful construction! Break in period required, but worth it. Refined upper details, with a perfect chunky sole to navigate winter weather. Gorgeous leather (black). I sized up & glad I did as toe box is a bit tight, and I have medium fit avg. foot size.

Don't do reviews, but had to comment on how impressive the quality of the shoes are. Extremely comfortable. Was looking for a shoe with a solid sole for good support. As stated in other comments had to go down half size. Normally wear 8 M, ordered 7 1/2 M; it fits like a glove!

Nice shoes! I wanted loafers that are a little chunky, but not clunky and these are perfect. A little stiff the first couple or wears, but not uncomfortable. Based on reviews, I sized down a 1/2 size and I don't think I needed to, my regular size would've been fine, especially if I had planned to wear these with anything but thin socks.

Too big and took chunky for me
